Question:
i have a 2006 jayco seneca motorhome hd 35 gs. i wanders on the road. when a semi passes it almost blows me off the road. steering feels like a loaded down pickup, what do you recommend? the chasis is a c5500. i cant find any sway bar on the front. the shocks are original. tire air pressure is good and the unit has been aligned. rv forums suggest a front track bar, sway bar and new shocks. ive purchased products from you last year. everything works great. the rear has a stock sway bar.

One way to fix sway problems on a motor home is to brace the rear axle, to eliminate excessive axle side movement. The Roadmaster, # RM-1109-157, and similar products, mount between the rear axle and the chassis and hold the axle in place. This will greatly reduce rear end sway. Part # RM-1109-157is the correct part for the 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak.
Adding a front sway bar is also an option. For a front bar, you can use # RM-1109-158.
You could also install a steering stabilizer, # RM-RBK5-RSSA. It will work to keep the motor home centered so that the driver does not have to work as hard.
I have included links to the instructions for these parts and a FAQ on Stability Control for Heavy Duty Vehicles for you to check out.
