It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2005 Ford F-53 and Ford F-550 Class A motor homes with the V10 engines. And lots of times, it even makes you keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times.So basically with this unique track rod, this will attach to the front axle of your vehicle and it essentially holds it in place to prevent any jarring and unnecessary shifting. So it'll help minimize the wander and the rut tracking and improves overall performance. It will control excessive axle side play without affecting the up and down movement of your suspension.
And it also even reduces driver fatigue by eliminating wander, which is the loose steering feeling that will cause you to oversteer. So it will minimize the effort that's required to keep your vehicle in line.Now if you notice the bushings they use, they are built with polyurethane bushings instead of the standard rubber variety. It gives it a lot longer lasting system. And the reason is the polyurethane is much more durable and resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone. So of course, less wear will mean less give in your system and better support.
The track rod itself is constructed of a thick cadmium plated 4140 chrome moly steel for superior strength. Diameter on this track rod is 1-1/2".Does include, I laid out on the table here are all the parts. It includes all the mounting brackets, all the grade five mounting hardware and a nice set of detailed installation instructions that'll describe in detail how to install this. Now this does install using existing holes in your vehicle's frame so there's no drilling or welding required.
