Hi, I'm needing to know which is best recommended/safest for my vehicle.. tow dolly vs car carrier. I'm moving and need to transport my vehicle.

I looked in the owner's manual for your 2016 Ford Escape and towing options are discussed around page 185. If you have a front-wheel drive Escape then you can use a tow dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly, Item # RM-2050-1. When towing with a tow dolly, make sure the front wheels are off the ground and securely attached. If you have four-wheel drive, you will need to tow with a car carrier.
