Long rigs and heavy loads can make you feel like the back end has a mind of its own. This 1-5/8" diameter rear anti-sway bar ties the rear axle to the frame to balance weight transfer and cut down side-to-side motion. You’ll feel steadier through crosswinds, passing semis, and road dips because the bar keeps the ride level and predictable. Turns and quick maneuvers feel tighter and more confident without the usual lean.
The bar is made from 4140 chromoly steel, a tougher alloy than the standard 1020 steel used in basic setups. That extra hardness and strength mean the bar resists twist and flex under load. The larger diameter increases roll stiffness by nearly 30 percent, so it holds its shape and keeps sway in check mile after mile.
Instead of soft rubber, this setup uses polyurethane bushings that stand up to oil, gasoline, and ozone. They don’t squish out or break down fast, so there’s less play in the system and more consistent response. The bushings allow just enough pivot to handle pressure from sharp turns or uneven ground without losing stability.
No drilling needed here. The bar mounts directly to the rear axle and chassis using the included heavy-gauge hardware and bushing lubricant. It’s designed to work with most popular aftermarket suspension gear and can run alongside a front anti-sway bar for even more stability. Once it’s on, you’ll spend less time fighting sway and more time enjoying the drive.

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

Rear leaf spring hanger brackets may be bolted or riveted on. When riveted, install time will increase. Manufacturer codes can be found under the driver side visor: EV8 = Rivets EV9 = Bolts. Unfortunately, we do not have any alternate instructions that show the rivet installation.
