Hi Lee; do you already have the Primus or are you wanting to buy one? Tekonsha is for sale right now and we no longer have that brake controller in our inventory. You can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3035-P for installation assuming you have a factory 7-way. However, I can't provide you with the actual brake controller at this time.
The closest equivalent we have would be the Curt TriFlex NEXT # C46SV. This does include a custom wiring harness for your 2006 Expedition for a plug and play installation. If you want the most reliable option, that would be the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED96CR. This also installs behind the dash so it won't take up space in the cab of the vehicle. The only downside is the higher cost.
What are you planning on towing?
