Question:

I have a 2017 e-450 Minnie Winnie, Your site is only showing me e-350 options. Will roadmaster kits rm83zr and rm84nq fit? are these the heaviest duty sway bars available?

Hey Joel, we do have Roadmaster sway bars that fit the front and rear of your 2017 E-450 Class C Minnie Winnie with the part # RM-1139-189 for the front bar or part # RM-1139-147 for the rear. Hows the handling currently?

I had to drill two holes for the installation and when I was done the body sway was reduced by 90 to 95 per cent. Most of the push from semi trucks passing and meeting has been eliminated. The handling, yes I know it is a big box, was improved immensely. Still have the side wind push to a limited extent but greatly reduced. This upgrade was the last one I did. The first was the front sway bar then the rear. The rear made the greatest difference.

@TerryH Glad it made a big difference! Yeah your experience checks out with what we have learned here over the years and that is that the rear bar makes by far the biggest improvement and is what we always recommend people try first and then go from there. Usually we say rear bar, front bar, and then steering stabilizer. SumoSprings can help too.

Buy rear sway bar stopped by RV rear moving around. It feels like a van now not an RV so I recommend a sway bar for your rear sway bar. PS it stopped driving like a tank now. It drives like a van.

Installed on my Thor outlaw, 34 foot on a 450 Ford Econoline base. I got them because driving the Thor was like driving a beast way too much motion and constant adjustments of the steering wheel. I placed on this sway bars as well as stiffer Beilstein shocks. Huge improvement overall. Still does not match the drive of my diesel pusher I got rid of years ago, but definitely an improvement in driving and I would recommend.

@PaulS Nice! Yeah we've heard the pusher setups are the way to go if you can swing it.

I have a 2019 E450 Minnie Winnie and installed the same sway bars. It makes a noticeable difference when you have strong crosswinds or semi trucks passing you.
