Question:
When installing the airlift 1000 to my 2022 Grand Cherokee L 4x4 Laredo would it be better to run the air lines individual or use the T provided. This will be the 3rd set Ive purchased the first two vehicles I used the T and Ive had no issues but with the Cherokee L I will be hauling a camper with a 520lb tongue weight. I have a class 5 hitch I purchased from etrailer with a 1125lb max tongue weight. Thanks in advance.

Hey Marvin, welcome back. The only reason you would want to run individual air lines for the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs item # AL62WQ is if you wanted to inflate the air bags with different pressure. Seeing as how all the weight of your camper is going to be placed evenly on the rear of your 2022 Grand Cherokee L there's no benefit in doing that. I would just T the lines off.
Do you have a weight distribution system? If you're going to be hauling a heavy tongue weight trailer you should consider adding one. It'll help with sway and any sagging in your rear end. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control item # FA92-00-0800 would be the best option.
Here are some other parts you'll need to add to your Grand Cherokee if you're going to be towing a trailer that heavy:
Brake Controller - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR
7-Way Connector - Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7

Hey Marvin, did you decide to use the T connection for your Air Lift 1000 on your Grand Cherokee? I'm curious if you found it worked well with your camper setup, as it could give others confidence when setting up their own towing systems.
