Question:
have stehl tow dolly, st-80-td, no brakes, want to add electric brakes, wires there for 7way plug and all lights work. There are two 10 blue wires that go into tow dolly channel at the tongue, but do not come out at either side to connect to electric brakes, are they in the tow dolly channel? Do I need to remove unit with ramps to try and fish wires out holes at the end of channel at each wheel?, should I than run another neutral wire, from each electric brake to 7way plug? or to tow dolly frame. not sure? thanks for any help al

Hey Alfred thanks for stopping by! So to get your Stehl tow dolly ready to go with brakes you're also going to need a hub/drum assembly, with # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, a set of brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA, a breakaway kit # 3802346, and a brake controller like # 90195.
Since it sounds like the blue power wires are already ran, you'd need to fish those out and connect them to the brakes. If you need anything else, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!
