Question:
How do we usually determine whether my trailer needs a 3500lbs or 5000lbs powered tongue jack?Whether these two different load jacks have a range corresponding to the weight of the trailer?

Gary, in order to pick out a properly sized jack for your Jayco Jay Flight, you're going to need to find out what the total weight of your trailer is and pick a jack that is about 10-15% of that. So if your trailer is 6,000 lbs, then you'd need a jack that has a 600 lb capacity (using 10% for an example).
If you can let me know below what your trailer shakes out to, I'd love to help you out!

Hi Bryce, Thanks for your reply. My Jayco's weight is about 9000lbs,It's actually bigger and heavier than the picture I uploaded,If the weight of the trailer is multiplied by 15%, then I only need to choose a 3500 lbs electric jack (9000x15%=1350,and it is more than enough), so I am curious about what kind of trailer needs a 5000 lbs electric tongue jack?I think I need to know before I buy. Thank you.
