Question:
Why is the load capacity of AM20304 set at 2200 lbs and AM20334 capacity is only 1870lbs? The wheels appear to be identical except for color. Please explain. Thanks.

Hello David, good eye. So, Dexstar recently upped the capacity of some of their 14" wheels from 1,870lbs to 2,200 lbs. The wheel has not changed structurally, but they found it was actually stronger than their original testing indicated. So, we do have some of the old wheels still in stock that show the old 1,870 capacity, and with other wheels like the #AM20304 we have cycled thru the old stock and we now have the new 2,200 lb rated wheels. So, if you do get the white wheels # AM20334, they will likely have a sticker that says 1,870 lb capacity, but the actual capacity per the manufacturer is 2,200 lbs. We are just keeping the 1,870 lb capacity in the specs for now so that we are accurately describing the product and not misrepresenting it.

Hey David, did the updated 2,200‑lb rating on the Dexstar wheels clear things up for you? Knowing how that info matched what you received could help others comparing the black and white versions. Your feedback would be useful for anyone checking the newer stock.
