14" x 5-1/2" Steel trailer wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and a 3.19" pilot diameter. Durable powder-coated wheel resists rust.
When you're towing serious weight, a strong wheel makes all the difference. This steel mod wheel handles up to 2,200 lbs, giving you a solid margin for heavy cargo or long-distance hauls. It meets DOT standards, so you can run it with confidence mile after mile.
Corrosion doesnt stand a chance here. This steel wheel goes through a 2-step finishing process that includes an e-coat primer and a durable Nardo gray powder coat. The result is a clean look that fights off rust and moisture, holding up well in tough weather or humid storage conditions.
This rim uses a standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, so it bolts right onto most light-duty trailer hubs without any weird spacing or adapters. If you're replacing an old wheel, it'll drop right in without a headache.
The modular spoke layout gives this wheel both a sturdy structure and a classic look that works well on any trailer setup. Steel construction provides rigidity under load and steady tracking on the road - ideal for anyone who values durability and dependable performance trip after trip.
Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are (also called bolt holes)
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 14 inch by 5 1/2 inch nardo gray modular steel trailer wheel, like the five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now when you're towing serious weight, a nice strong wheel like this makes all the difference. This steel modular wheel will handle up to 2,200 pounds, giving you a solid margin for heavy cargo or long distance hauls. We mentioned it's a modular design. The modular design is the one that has the round holes all the way around the wheel.
This will give the wheel both a sturdy structure and a nice classic look that works well on any trailer set up. Also, corrosion does not stand the chance with this wheel. The steel wheel goes through a two step finishing process. That'll first include an e-coat primer put on it, and then a nice durable nardo gray powder coat. And we mentioned nardo gray, 'cause it's a popular non-metallic, medium shade grade automotive paint that gives a nice, solid, glossy finish, often described as a sophisticated, modern or slate gray.
It's seen on a lot of the new SUVs, trucks, and trailers. The resolve is a nice clean look that'll fight off rust and moisture, holds up well in tough weather or humid storage conditions. Again, I do wanna give you a few dimensions on this. We're gonna measure it. We'll start with the diameter, which is always measured inside to inside.
If we take our tape measure, go straight across, there's your 14 inch diameter. The width will do the same. It's measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. There's your 5 1/2 inch wide wheel. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel like this, it's an odd number of lugs being five lugs. What you do is just pick any hole, let's say this hole, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole, you're measuring to. On this, if we measure be 4 1/2 inches, so it's a five lug, 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. The pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center, diameter on that is 3.19 inches. And I do wanna mention, if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap where you do sell those separate on our website. You do wanna make sure just to order one that will have the same diameter as the pilot hole, which is 3.19 inches. Does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the low grading of weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds. It is made in the USA by Dexstar, and it does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation standard, so that you can run it with confidence mile after mile. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Dexstar 14 inch by 5 1/2 inch nardo gray modular steel trailer wheel with a five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
