Question:
Do folks find they are able to lower their truck F150 tailgate without hitting jack?

Hi Edie; we haven't had any specific reports on whether or not the tailgate can sit open when hooked up to a trailer with the # LC733926 installed. To some extent this will depend on the ball mount you're using since that determines the height of the coupler.
What I can tell you is that the distance from the top of the bracket to the top of the jack with the handle flipped down is 13-1/8". When you flip the handle over so it is sticking up that same distance is 16-1/2". You can compare this to your current truck and trailer setup to see if it will work for you.
