Can I keep this scale on my jack all the time? Do I need to pull it off when I'm traveling?

Hey Brian! The BTBRV Trailer Jack Foot Scale # BTBRV014 is not designed to live on your trailer jack permanently. If you're traveling or storing your trailer you definitely want to remove it and replace it with your standard foot. If you're at the campsite for a few days and leave it on there that won't be an issue.
If you forgot and left it on it wouldn't instantly be ruined, but the gauge isn't designed to take hits from road debris and could end up damaged if you drive with it attached. We do include a storage case to keep it protected when you aren't using it. A SnapPad # SN47FR is also available separately.
