Your arm stalls mid-crank with a loaded tongue. Been there. This A-frame jack lifts up to 2,000 lbs and accepts a 3/4" socket so a drill can do the work. You raise and lower smoothly without fighting the handle, and hitching doesn't drag on.
Cranking a loaded trailer by hand gets old fast when you're hitching up in the driveway or at camp. This jack gives you two ways to lift, with a sidewind handle for manual use and a 3/4" integrated nut with included 3/4" socket for drill operation. Fold the handle down, run it with your drill, and raise or lower the coupler with less time spent at the tongue.
A jack that runs out of capacity leaves the trailer stuck where it sits. This one is rated for 2,000 lbs of maximum capacity with 14" of maximum travel, so it's sized for lifting trailer tongue weight through the hitching cycle. You can bring the coupler up or down to meet the ball and finish hookup or unhooking with the jack doing the lifting.
Rain, road salt, and sun can chew up exposed trailer gear and leave a jack looking rough before long. This jack uses steel construction with an e-coat and glossy black powder coat on the outer tube, plus white zinc plating on the inner tube. It keeps raising and lowering through the season instead of turning into a seized-up replacement project.
Starting an install and finding out you're missing fasteners is how a simple swap turns into a store run. This jack comes with (3) 3/8"-16 x 1" grade 5 hex bolts, (3) 3/8" flat washers, and (3) 3/8"-16 grade 5 nylon lock nuts, along with the 3/4" socket for drill operation. Open the box, mount the jack, and get the trailer back in service with the supplied hardware.
Unstable ground turns the front of the trailer into a balancing act when you're trying to park, load, or unhook. The jack uses a round removable foot plate for base support and works with a 6" SnapPad (sold separately) to increase contact at the ground. With that added footprint, the jack stays planted on gravel, grass, or sand while the trailer remains supported during loading and while it sits unhitched.

Very well built jack and smooth operation with crank or a drill. I used on a 12' single axle with a golf Cart on trailer. The only reason I did not give a 5 Star is because on down crank/drill you will over crank and the entire lift rod is only held on by a spring clip that pops off. I had to drill a key hold at top of lift shaft for a cotter key. Now it has soft tention on crank or drill operations. I would recomment this product.I also added the double wheel foot that swivels and system works great.
I bought this hitch to replace the electric motor one that came with my 25ft Airstream trailer after it locked up in the up position and I could find no way to unlock the jack again. I bought this 2000lbs jack because of the simplicity of a manual jack and ease of taking it apart if it ever was to freeze up and all the internal gears are easily ordered. I also picked this jack because it is operable with a screw gun which I noticed is just as fast if not faster that my old jack’s electric motor. Although Etrailer advertises this model jack for “ Light Duty” trailers I with this jacks 2000lbs limits it jacks my 850lbs tongue weight trailer with no problem.
Great jack, bolted right up to my trailer with supplied hardware. Handle folds out the way so you can use a drill and the supplied 3/4" socket for rapid extension and retraction of the jack.
Excellent trailer jack. I originally purchased a tow master electric trailer jack from northern tool. Nothing but problems couldn’t get it to work out of the box. So I gave up and ordered this one and it’s fabulous works great and actually lifts fast than an electric trailer jack. Great product I highly recommend it
Easy replacement/install. Once I broke loose the old bolts, took me about 10 minutes to install the new one.
Excellent product, extremely quick delivery. Only thing I would change is adding the drop leg to the jack, which, since I had one I did just that…couldn’t ask for a better deal!
It works great. Only installed one so f ar
Works great! Now let's see how well it holds up.
Works fine in both drill and manual mode. A bit slow perhaps but I'm happy with it.
Have not been able to install it yet, but it is exactly what I was looking for.
Works great with small impact drill
Fits perfect and working great
