Use your drill to raise and lower your trailer, then check tongue weight before you tow. This kit pairs a 2,000 lb A-frame jack with a jack foot tongue weight scale so you can adjust cargo and verify the load during setup.

Highlights

  • Drill Powered Lifting: Included 3/4" socket lets you raise and lower the jack with a drill instead of cranking by hand.
  • Manual Backup Handle: Fold-down sidewind handle gives you a hand-crank option when you are not using a drill.
  • Check Tongue Weight While You Load: Jack foot scale reads up to 2,000 lbs in 50 lb increments without setting up a separate scale.
  • Adjust Cargo Before You Tow: Check the reading, move cargo, and check again while the trailer is still supported by the jack.
  • 14" Lift: Manual A-frame jack lifts trailer tongue weight through the hitching and unhitching process.
  • Rust-Resistant Steel: E-coat, glossy black powder coat, and white zinc plating help protect the jack from road spray and weather.

Features to know about

Check, Adjust, and Hitch Up

When you're getting ready to tow, it's hard to know if your trailer's tongue weight is right just by looking at it. Lower your trailer onto the gauge while it's still on your jack, see where the weight stands, move your gear if needed, and check it again before you hitch up. Because the scale replaces your jack foot, there's no separate tongue weight scale to deal with every time you check your load. Four mounting positions let you rotate the gauge toward the side that's easiest to read. If you use your trailer on gravel, grass, or other soft surfaces, the scale also works with the 6" Round SnapPad (SN47FR - sold separately) to help keep the jack from sinking.

Drill Powered Lifting

Use the included 3/4" socket and a power drill to raise and lower your trailer. If you don't have your drill handy or the battery dies, the fold-down sidewind handle lets you operate the jack manually. The jack provides up to 14" of travel with a 2,000 lb lift capacity, giving you the control you need to hitch up or adjust trailer height while loading.

Ready for the Weather

Moisture takes a toll on trailer jacks, so this one uses protective finishes to help limit damage over time. The jack's outer tube is made of steel with an e-coat and glossy black powder coat, while the inner tube is made of white zinc plated steel to help resist rust.

Hey Steve! The tongue weight scale included with the etrailer Manual Sidewind Trailer Jack # e63KV is designed for temporary use before towing. Hey James! The etrailer Sidewind Trailer Jack # e38AV uses the standard 3-bolt A-frame mounting pattern, which is 3" apart on center.
