Question:

Can you explain the accuracy? The provided description mentioned +/- 5 of full scale weight.inch Does that mean plus/minus 5 of the 2000 lb max scale weight? If so, that would equal +/- 100lb which is a significant margin when measuring only 400 lb of tongue weight on a small travel trailer. Please explain. Thank you.

The +/-5% accuracy specification refers to the scale's measurement tolerance. On a 2,000-lb capacity scale, that works out to about +/-100 lbs. at full capacity. As you pointed out, if you were measuring a much lighter tongue weight, such as around 400 lbs., a +/-100-lb tolerance would be much more significant.
