3rd Brake Light Module Blinking With Turn Signals

Question:
I have installed the PP20-702 module on a truck topper third brake light on a 2017 F150. The third brake light does not illuminate at all with the turn signals when the brakes are not applied. The third brake light does illuminate properly with brake applications. The problem comes when the brakes and either turn signal is applied, the third light blinks in sync with the turn signal. Does this indicate that the PO20-702 is partially faulty? It seems to be partially working but not fully.

Expert Reply:
If everything is hooked up correctly, then yes that would indicate that the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 is faulty since it's supposed to filter out the turn signals which it's not doing. I recommend taking a peek at the wiring diagram attached and verifying that it is hooked up correctly. If it is, then it's faulty and you'll just want to replace the unit.
