To see if this custom-fit item will work for you please tell us what vehicle you'll use it with.
Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Blue Ox EZ Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit for the Cadillac Escalade. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2014 Cadillac Escalade vehicles. And on a custom-fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
(Jeff coughing) So when you're towing a vehicle behind your motor home, you'll need a way to get the tail brake and turn signals from that RV to your vehicle to be safe and legal. This kit here will plug into your factory connectors that are on your vehicle to connect the electrical signals from the motor home to the vehicle. This is a complete plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of the kit's very quick and easy. And it is a complete kit. It does include all the hardware and installation components you're gonna need, including detailed instructions.
Some of the parts that are included is this converter box that has the connectors added to it with the four-way wiring. They also include a four-way flat mounting bracket with hardware. So basically, when you run this up to the front of your vehicle, instead of it just hanging there, there's a bracket that'll fit in and hold it into place. And it comes with the hardware. Also comes with a four-way dust cap that you can put on it if you prefer, that you would put on it when you're not using it, if you want to protect the terminals from any damage or from the elements.
And it does come with some terminal grease that you'll put on all your electrical connections. Comes with some cable ties to take up any slack in wiring. And it even comes with a grounding screw. If you look at your four-way, there's a white wire that comes out of it with an eyelet on it, that needs to connect to a good clean ground if there's one nearby. If not, you can use this grounding screw to make (indistinct).
(sniffs) Now, to install this, it is pretty simple. All you have to do is go to the rear of your vehicle and then gain access to the connections behind your tail lights, and you'll start on the driver's side. You'll take this tee connector here, it has the yellow wire in it. That means it's for the driver's side. You'll unplug it on the connectors on the vehicle, plug this into those, and then you'll have this length of wire with the green wire. The green wire indicates it's the passenger side, so you'll run this wire over to the passenger side. Same way, plug this in behind the tail lights. And then, you're gonna take this length of four-way wire and run it all the way to the front of the vehicle. And again, when you get up to the front, you'll wanna make your ground connection and then you'll wanna install your bracket to hold your four-way into place. (clears throat) Now also, always remember, if you have any questions regarding this product or any of our products, please don't hesitate to contact us via phone, chat, or email. Or if you have purchased any product from us, please send us pictures of it being used in your application 'cause we'd love to see how that product's working out for you.
