The best option we have for you is the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 which connects to the left and right stop/turn circuits on your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 and filters out the turn signals so you just have the brake signal for your topper.

I unfortunately don't have a wiring schematic of your truck so I don't know if there is a specific wire anywhere near the back of your truck bed for the CHMSL circuit you're talking about.
