Bracket to Install Fulton XLT Jack on Mastercraft Boat Trailer

Updated 09/03/2019 | Published 09/01/2019

Question:

Hi - I am trying to replace the trailer jack on my Mastercraft boat trailer. It currently has a welded plate on the trailer that has 4 bolt holes 4 x 3 center to center Image 1. I pulled off the mounting plate that was attached to the old jack and have included a photo Image 2. Id like to replace it with a Fulton XLT or similar 1200-1500lb jack not really interested in the F2 based on reviews and cost. Will the XLT be able to mount to this 4x3 bracket or is there a different plate that would accommodate the 4x3 plate already drilled on my trailer? Is there another jack that youd recommend? Thanks,

The Fulton jack part # F141132 that you referenced is a really great jack that I know you'll be happy with, but it requires the bracket part # P9012-00 to mount to a trailer which isn't the same as what you have now. So your best option is to remove the bracket you have now and install the # P9012-00 and you'd be set.

You'd need to find a local welder to have them cut off the old bracket and install the new one. It would be a super painless install for them too.
