Compatibility of Fulton F141132 XLT Trailer Jack With Weld-On Mount for Existing Jack
Updated 02/24/2021 | Published 02/21/2021 >
Question:
Hello- Recent purchase of some trailer wheels. I have an older 2004 Extreme trailer with the welded bracket, looks like center bolt sheared. I would like to use a new Fulton XLT, but utilize the stock bracket with an adapter plate. Hard to decypher what will actually fit a 3 center layout? I can send a pic for much better reference in determining. Thank you!

Without knowing the part number and manufacturer of your current trailer jack, I couldn't speak to the compatibility of the mounting plate for your current jack with the mount that the Fulton # F141132 XLT uses. The # P9012-00 weld-on mount for the # F141132 has pin holes that measure 3 inches apart, center to center, and the dimensions of the mount are shown in the provided photo.
You can compare the dimensions of the # P9012-00 mount to what you have. If they don't match up, you'll need to use an angle grinder to remove the existing mount. At that point, you can either use the # F141132 and have the # P9012-00 mount welded on, or you can use the # F141133 bolt-on version of the Fulton XLT if you don't want to mess with having the mount welded on.
If you wanted to send photos and any manufacturer/part number info from your existing jack, I'd be happy to see what I can figure out as far as compatibility goes.
I'll link you to product videos for the parts mentioned above.
