Can Tow Bar Be Connected Directly to Rough Country Bumper on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

I have a 2015 JKU with a 2.5 inch lift and on 35s. I want to flat tow it behind my RV. I have seen at some places talk about using the BlueOx towing without the tow bar and just attaching it directly to the shackle mount. That seems ideal since I have a frame mounted steel bumper from Rough Country. What product would work for this application? Thanks

You can use a tow bar like the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380 with the 7/8" D-Ring # BX88357 or 1" D-Ring # BX88358 bumper adapters (whichever matches what you have on your Jeep), but you do need to confirm with Rough Country that the bumper you have on your 2015 Wrangler Unlimited is safe to use for flat towing.
You also may need to use a high-low adapter to ensure your tow bar is within the "3 inch safe zone" that we talk about in the linked article.
For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
