Recommended Flat Towing Parts for a 2025 Ford Bronco w/a Standard Bumper and LED Lights

Hello, I am trying to determine the best flat tow components for pulling a 2025 Ford Bronco Outer Banks standard bumper with LED lighting behind a Class C RV. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Thanks for the information Kevin! To flat tow your 2025 Ford Bronco with a standard bumper and LED lights, I recommend the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect item # e84ZR

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM79RR

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM38FR

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

Charge Line Kit - Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit for Demco Air Force One and Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking Systems item # DM66VR. This is the best way to add a charge line, however it is only compatible if you use one of the Demco braking systems like the ones linked above.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.

What specific Class C motorhome do you have?

@JerredH Hi Jerred, I finally got my RV out of the shop. My RV hitch is about 5.5 inches lower than factory tow hooks. I assume baseplate will be approximately the same height. So, I think I will need a 6" high/low adapter. Should I order base plate and get installed and remeasure? Also, which high/low adapter would you recommend? Thanks, Kevin
