Question:
I want to add brakes to my 92 Coleman Arcadia pop-up. I am looking for the correct hub/drum and electric brake assemblies. The wheel bolts are 5 on 4 1/2 and the tires are Carlisle USA Trail 20.5x8-10. The current axle includes a square flange on each end for mounting brake assemblies but the manual does not identify the axle. The manual does indicate that Dexter 7 in brakes were available as an option. Can you help?

Based on your manual indicating 7" brakes it is probably a 2,000 lb axle. That should be a 4-bolt brake flange on the axle as well. Try checking your axle tag to see if you can verify this. The capacity may be listed, or it can be found with the serial number. You will need the following parts to add brakes:
-Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 7" - 5 on 4-1/2 # 8-257-5UC3
-Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 7" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - - 2,000- to 2,200-lbs # 23-47-48
-7-Way Wiring: Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # HM20048 (If you want a junction box use # 3375601101)
-Breakaway Kit: Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit # 20400
The Dexter hub and drum assembly is designed for 2k axles. It uses # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) inner and outer bearings. You will also need to make sure this is what you currently have on your trailer. If you have a different bearing combination please let me know and I will see what else is available.
I'm also assuming you don't have a 7-way or brake controller on your 2008 Kia Rondo since you were looking at the # ETBC7. If you don't already have a 4-way you will need to start by adding the # 118431. Once installed, you will be able to use the # ETBC7 to upgrade to a 7-way connection.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This mounts out of sight with only the control knob visible in the cab of your vehicle.
I have attached some review and installation videos below for your reference.
