Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at this Lippert Spindle Nut Kit with Round Washer and Cotter Pin. Now, this is rated for 2,000 to 8,000-pound axles. They use a 1-inch round spindle. So, this castle nut here is gonna fit a 1-inch round spindle. It uses 1-inch by 14 thread size, and then of course, you have the washer here, and of course you have your cotter pin.
Obviously the washer goes on first followed by the castle nut. The cotter pin will go through the end of your spindle, and then you'll be able to fold it back to keep it from coming back undone when it's tight. So, again, folks, the spindle nut locks everything in place to help prevent unwanted movement and support wheel rotation that's gonna be smooth and accurate. This, again, is quantity one. You get one kit, which includes the three parts.
