It is required to run a power wire from the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56336 to the battery on a 2019 Dodge Durango. The power wire is actually what provides power to the lights on the trailer. The tee connectors simply obtain the signal. The vehicle's factory tail light circuits are not rated for the extra power needed for trailer tail lights so you'll need to pull power from the battery for these. It's really not that big of a deal to run the power wire, just follow the brake lines and you're pretty much there.
