Features to know about

Keeps Every Trailer Level: 6" Rise or 6" Drop

Whether it’s a boat, camper, or utility trailer, getting it to sit level is key for safe, steady towing. This adjustable 2-ball mount gives you up to a 6" rise or 6" drop so you can match any trailer height with the same setup. The dual-ball platform covers both common coupler sizes—2" rated for 7,500 lbs GTW and 2-5/16" rated for 10,000 lbs GTW—so you can hook up different trailers without swapping mounts.

Cuts Down the Rattle: Tight Pins Keep Things Quiet

No one likes hearing clanks and squeaks every time they hit a bump. This mount uses pins that fit tight in the channel to reduce movement and quiet down the ride. The snug tolerances mean less shake when you’re hauling heavy loads, giving you a smoother tow and more confidence that everything’s locked in place.

Top-down view of etrailer adjustable 2-ball mount showing tight fit in adjustable channel for reduced towing rattle.

Built to Last: Double-Layer Rust Protection

Road salt and weather can chew through standard finishes fast. This mount’s durable steel construction is protected by an e-coat underlayer topped with a matte black powder coat for extra defense against corrosion. The black nickel plating on the balls and pins adds another layer of protection and keeps everything looking sharp trip after trip.

Close-up comparison of etrailer adjustable 2-ball mount matte black finish versus rusting hitch receiver showing corrosion resistance.

One Mount for Multiple Jobs: Dual-Ball Flexibility

Towing a camper one day and a U-Haul the next? The included 2" and 2-5/16" balls make switching between trailers simple. Just flip or adjust the mount to match your setup—no tools needed, no extra parts to keep track of. It’s a straightforward way to handle all your towing needs with one hitch.

Solid, Dependable Construction: Steel Shank That Handles Real Loads

This mount’s steel shank fits a 2" x 2" receiver and takes on serious weight without flexing. With tongue weights of 750 lbs on the 2" ball and 1,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball, it’s built to stand up to heavy-duty towing while keeping everything stable from hitch to trailer coupler.

by:

Fits perfect and is great for storage when not in use. Which is 90% of the time.

by:

Great customer service my hitch arrived in a timely manner and item met and excited my expectations a very solid product I would definitely purchase from etrailer again

by:

I've owned this hitch setup for over a year now and am completely satisfied with it. My longest trip was 18 hours one way towing a 16' trailer with two ATVs. The adjustable rise/drop was perfect for what I needed to ensure a level ride. No one could beat the price for the quality, and I highly recommend this product.

by:

My trailer tongue smashed the hitch eliminating use of the adjustability. Standard trailer tongue on a brand new trailer I just bought. No good.

by:

A solid build instills confidence that will never fail. Worked perfectly on my 2025 chevy 2500hd

by:

Convenient for adjusting trailer ride level and tongue weight but the amount of slack in the components of the adjustment channel to ball coupler are less than pleasant to listen to while towing.
I have returned to a conventional style fixed placement coupler to take the movement and noise out of the equation.
A well built product but tolerances could be a bit snugger on the channel to ball coupler.

by:

This thing is a rockstar at its pricepoint. Built like a tank. Love that it only has two balls so it stays out of the way more.

by:

Nice product! I'm towing around 8000lbs with it. I would of like to of seen some type of lock, or at least threaded bolts where the ball mount connects to the main piece of the hitch. No big deal, works great overall. The price was better than most adjustable mounts like this.

by:

Arrived timely and is exactly as expected. Nice, heavy duty ball mount. Easy to adjust.

by:

Good products and quick shipping. Multi position hitch is very robust and will replace about a dozen various hitches with different heights and ball sizes.

After a years use, this product works so well for my multitrailer use. That I recently upgraded to the 14k version. I will give my other one away to one of the kids. I now have 5 or 6 standard hitches in storage.

@Steve That is great to hear Steve! I am glad it is working well for you and eliminating the need for so many different hitches. Great flexibility, and it looks nice! What kind of different trailers are you towing?

by:

Works great- I had to set the ball to the lowest level to get my trailer level, so I'm hoping that any other trailers I end up towing will fit at that level or higher. Also, etrailer always has excellent shipping times and customer service, so it's very easy to order from them. Thanks!

by:

Very well constructed, value price, super fast shipping!

The hitch and ball have been great! easy adjustability, no rattling, holding up very well... Only cosmetic issue is a slight waring of the coating on the ball itself. No a functional issue at all, just cosmetic.

@David Glad our etrailer adjustable hitch is still working as it should David! Yes, the coating does wear over time. What kind of trailers are you mainly towing with it?

by:

Very easy to use. I wish it had a lock on the pins to prevent theft on the ball part

by:

Quick delivery! Ball mount hitch looks great and very easy to set-up. Would be nice if it came with matching lock units though. Very satisfied with etrailer parts.

by:

It rattles in the area of the adjustment pins. If you don't mind the rattle when you hit a bump, then this hitch does the job.

Thanks for the feedback, Tom! I will mention this to our product developers to see if we can get it addressed, but you can probably put a smallish sheet of rubber between the balls and the shank to eliminate the rattle in the mean time. Should do the job. What have you been towing with this?

by:

This is a great value! The hitch has held up reasonably well over the last year with just a little bit of the finish coming off on the portion that slides into my receiver. Works as intended!

by:

Perfect if you tow multiple trailers of different heights!

by:

Solid hitch, has worked really well and held up nicely over the last year. Only one issue…when used with bulldog couplers (with a slightly pointy end), the point catches on the frame of the hitch and when you make a tight enough turn, it sounds like someone shot the back of your truck with a shotgun. It’s not tight enough to break anything (at least on my setup), but it does rub through the powder coat and make a slight dent in the frame of the hitch where the very top of the coupler rubs. If I only used round couplers, would be 5 stars.

by:

Fast shipping. Quality built hitch mount. Will make towing my enclosed trailers easier with the interchangeable balls and adjustable height.

by:

Great product for a reasonable price zero complaints
Customer service is above all competitors

by:

The Ball and Mount are excellent. I would suggest offering a key matched locking hitch pin and locking ball pin. as an option. I would have bought that also.

by:

This is exactly what I needed to raise my trailer a couple inches. It's very sturdy and low profile and it has an excellent price point. Plus I just think it looks cooler than most of the other hitches. Definitely worth getting one of these.

by:

Very good hitch.

The good:

This
thing is simple and heavy duty.
The coating on the components is robust and looks nice.
The ball assembly fits tight with very little play. Rattling is minimal to non-existent.

The okay:

The welds are ugly, they are more than adequate to ensure the strength and safety of this hitch, but these are far from a row of dimes.

The machining on the ball assembly is very good, but I do wish it was one, integral unit—because again the welds are ugly.

Overall, a very good hitch, at a fair price. If they had slightly more attentive welders this would be a premium product. Never the less, properly cared for, this hitch will likely outlive me.

by:

Decent unit but the slack between the channel and the hitch ball makes me uncomfortable. Seems like it will contribute to sway.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I can definitely understand why that would catch your attention. Some clearance between the adjustable channel and ball assembly is normal to allow for adjustment, but it shouldn't contribute to trailer sway.

by:

the pins make for easy adjustment for optimum trailer position but I fear that they may "fall" out. I only say this because before I bought a lock for my hitch I had one "fall" out and I "lost" the hitch. (quotation marks are because I'm not sure that someone didn't just steal the hitch and pin)

I have used it a few times now. I do not leave it installed, as I dont like the pain of running around the truck real quick and forgetting it is there. I have not had any issues with the pins. I love the ease of switching, depending on the trailer Im picking up.

  • Will Draw-Tite Hitch Fit 2025 Ford Bronco
Hi Derek! The Draw-Tite # DT47YR has not yet been confirmed to fit by Draw-Tite which is why we have it listed that way. It probably will fit since it works with the 2021-2024 models but I can't guarantee it. One way or another, I would get the TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver # TS46VR instead. This has the same 4,500 lb max gross trailer weight rating and 675 lb max tongue weight rating as the Draw-Tite. It also has an extra long receiver to help clear the spare tire on the rear which...

Hello Ric, thanks for reaching out. The only hitch we have confirmed to fit the 2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid is the Curt # C33MJ. We have confirmed with Curt that this will fit the Hybrid model. We have also heard back from a few of our own customers who have successfully installed it on the Hybrid model. This hitch has a 2" receiver and a 3,500 lb towing capacity. If you intend to tow a trailer, you will also need the Curt T-Connector # C45FV. Do you already have a ball mount and ball? Or...

  • Brake Controller for 2021 Volkswagen Atlas With Tow Package
Hey Ryan, welcome back! A brake controller will cover anything with brakes and then you will also need a ball mount. The # C57DR you were looking at will work, but you don't really need all of that. The sway bar would be a permanent addition to a single trailer so it wouldn't work on anything else you may tow later on. The Echo is convenient, but a lot of people have issues with the app so I don't really recommend it anymore. Nothing would be more frustrating then trying to get on the...

Hi Tyler; this is something that has been frequently requested but, it sounds like our product development team doesn't have any plans to make one in the near future. None of the manufacturers make a custom wiring harness so the only option is a universal splice-in like # C59236 or the # 119250KIT which clamps onto your vehicle wiring.
