does the dealer have to flash the computer on the type like the one that was wired in the back for the dodge Durango 2018?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56336 that you referenced is designed for your 2018 Dodge Durango if it did not come with the factory tow package, but it can certainly still be installed and used on your Durango if it does have the factory tow package and wiring. Because the harness will simply connect in line with the vehicle's tail light circuits (and not with any of the factory tow package wiring) there is no need to have the computer flashed. This will work great as soon as it's installed.

The harness will plug into ports behind the driver and passenger side tail lights and then you will need to run the hot lead up to the battery. It will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights. I have attached the written installation manual that you can check out as well.
