Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2014 Buick Enclave with Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar

WE ARE BUYING A 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE, WE HAVE A ROADMASTER FALCON 2 HITCH, IWOULD NEED THE BASE PLATES TO HOOK UP TO THE FALCON 2. DO YOU HAVE WHAT I NEED? THANKS

Yes, for your 2014 Buick Enclave and your Falcon 2 tow bar you will need base plates # 523149-1. I have linked the instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you.

There are a few other things needed to flat tow a vehicle if you do not already have them: safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.

For safety cables you can use # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.

For lighting there are a few options. If you will not be towing the Enclave often I recommend a magnetic kit, # RM-2120. But if you will be towing it often I recommend a more permanent solution such as TowDaddy kit # RM-154.

It also looks like you will need to pull fuses to flat tow the vehicle, consult your owners manual to confirm. To make this as easy as flipping a switch you can use fuse bypass # RM-76517 and # RM76514. Because there are different fuses that need to be pulled you will need 2 different fuse bypasses. If you do not get these then you will have to manually pull the fuses every time you flat tow and reinsert them when you want to drive the vehicle.

And last, most states require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake # RM-9400. In order for this or any braking system to work properly you will also need stop light switch # RM-751221 and 12 volt outlet kit # RM-9332.
