Question:
I have the roadmaster active suspension system on my 1997 f350 dually, 4x2. Can the Timbren rear suspension enhancement be added, in conjunction with the Roadway system? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can fit the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR350SDE on your 1997 Ford F-350 Heavy Duty along with the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-HD.
The RoadActive suspension enhancement (which used to be called the Roadmaster Active Suspension) installs above your leaf springs while the Timbren installs inside a little bit more which is why they fit together.
It is worth noting that these suspension kits work really well on their own so if you feel like the RoadActive isn't working out as well as it should then you might need to adjust it or even double check your OEM suspension to see if it needs to be replaced.
