Features to know about
Stable Handling on Long Trips: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs
These rear tie-downs mount directly to the truck’s frame so the camper rides low and stable. By anchoring to the strongest part of the vehicle, weight is spread evenly and the center of gravity stays low. That means fewer handling issues in crosswinds or rough terrain and no top-heavy sway. It keeps the camper locked in place so your setup feels solid mile after mile.
Clean Look When Not Carrying a Camper: Removable Arms
When you’re not hauling, you can pull the tie-down arms out of the brackets so they stay nearly invisible under the truck. The brackets mount flush along the frame, keeping your truck’s lines clean without hardware hanging down. It’s a simple way to keep your rig looking tidy between trips.
Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Rear Mounts
The custom design bolts into pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. Because the hardware mounts tight against the frame, you keep good ground clearance and a secure base for your camper. Everything you need for mounting—two rear tie-downs, hardware, and pin/clip—is included in the kit.
Built for Weather and Road Wear: Powder-Coated Steel
Each tie-down is made from black powder coated steel that resists corrosion and surface damage from road salt or moisture. The heavy-duty finish helps them hold up through winter driving, off-road miles, and long hauls without rust weakening the structure.
Secure, Adjustable Connection: Dual Anchor Holes
The arms extend outward to clear bowed sidewalls or fenders and include two pin holes so you can choose how far they reach. Each attachment plate also has two anchor holes for fine-tuning angle and tension when you connect turnbuckles (sold separately). This gives you a snug fit that holds firm without contact against your truck body.

Product was refurbished but sold as new. Once again etrailer.com prefer to sponsor a YouTube channel the literally insult viewers (BTBRV) than be honest and sell new parts (as advertised)3618570

I have a 2024 ram 3500 dually stock max tow package. I figured I’d put pictures up that are of top quality and lighting as most instructions on trailer a vague and generic. This product fit perfectly and it went on in 15 mins for both sides. ( no rusty bolts to mess with though) Attached are photos of before and after install and bolt placement.3412193
These tiedowns were exactly as advertised and fit my 2023 f350 4wd crew cab perfectly using preexisting holes and mounts. They even came with wire feeders to feed the bolts through the holes on the frame. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. Can adjust the width of tie down and can also drill new holes to customize the width. I highly recommend these.3152986
First, Andy was great to work with and very helpful. I bought and installed the frame mounted Torklift camper mounts on my 2021 GMC 2500HD Sierra Denali and I’m very pleased with them, they’re stout. As long as you’re mechanically inclined and can follow instructions you should be able to install them yourself without assistance.3333107
did not fit my old hitch so i had to upgrade the hitch. worth it for product. 611238

They work great but after one year of use the paint is flaking. For nearly $XXX you would think they could get the powder coat right.1325654

You mentioned that the paint was flaking on the tie downs. This can be common after a year depending on what road debris has hit it. We recommend touching it up with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum to help protect it.

Went on as instructed. A pain drilling holes but then again it was worth it for a quality tie-down. Love the way they look and the ease of attaching the extension.991516

Best product for overhead camper tie-downs period. Instructions could use a little more detail and/clearer picture, but installation was relatively easy and only took approx. 2hrs to install. Much more secure than bed/bumper or stake pocket type tie downs.1214354

Great product, straight forward install. etrailer install video was very helpful.

For your 1997 Ford F-350, it sounds like you are seeking the camper tie-downs for an in-bed camper. I recommend the HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # LC182910-182971 which will give you both the front and rear attachments confirmed to fit both long and short bed models of your specific truck. Then you can use the HappiJac Original Turnbuckles for Camper Tie-Downs - Stainless Steel - Qty 4 # LC182898 or the Quik-Load Turnbuckeles # LC182895. view full answer...
There are 2 different options for your 1996 Ford F-350 8' Bed with running boards and they just depend on what kind of trailer hitch you have installed on your pickup.
The correct front mount tie-downs are in the part # TLF2000. If you have the Torklift SuperHitch part # TLF1000 installed then the correct rear tie-downs are in the part # TLR3503. For any other aftermarket hitch (or none at all) then the correct rear tie-downs are in the part # TLR3501. These are compatible with the dual... view full answer...
There are TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs that will work with the Curt Trailer Hitch # C15703 for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD but it is different than the one you referenced.
The tie-downs that fit an '06 Silverado 2500HD with a 6-1/2 foot bed and aftermarket hitch do require the hitch to have a side plate with a 4" x 4" footprint, and as you can see by the accompanying photo of the measurements of Curt Hitch # C15703, it does meet those requirements.
In regards to the tie-downs that... view full answer...
If the tube step on your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed is only under the cab of the truck and no part of it is attached beyond the back of the cab then you would look at the tie downs for models without a board or step under the truck bed and with a non-TorkLift aftermarket hitch.
For the front you could then use # TLC2205. For the rear, # TLR3501. The rear tie downs will only work on aftermarket hitches that have side plates with at least a 4" x 4" footprint which seems to be what... view full answer...
The manufacturers supplied data for the Draw-Tite # 41544 hitch does not show any information regarding its use with a camper tie down system. Some tie downs for slide-in campers attach directly to a specialized truck hitch, but not in this case. Other tie downs attach to the truck frame, to the trucks factory installed hitch, or stake pockets.
For your 2005 Chevy 2500 HD with aftermarket hitch, Extended Cab, and 8' bed you can use the Brophy # TDSF Stake Pocket Camper Tie Downs. Kit... view full answer...

The only other part that comes in the package of your TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLR3501 apart from the parts you mentioned is the metal pin/clip that attaches the tie-down shank into the receiver shank. I went ahead and attached a video that shows all of the parts included.
If this is not the part you are inquiring about, I would be happy to assist you if you respond to this answer with a photo of the extra part. view full answer...
The # TLC3205 you have now is only designed to work with the factory hitch. Whether it is the # DT45517, a Curt hitch, or even a TorkLift hitch you will need a different rear tie-down. The correct rear tie-down for a 2002 Silverado 2500 without a board or step underneath and with a non-Torklift aftermarket hitch would be the # TLR3501. view full answer...
Hi Tim,
Really appreciate all that info, and with that I checked directly with our manufacturer, TorkLift, for you. And we do have frame-mounted camper tie-downs that fit your 1991 Dodge Ram D250 without running boards/steps and with an aftermarket hitch. Just keep in mind these are ONLY a fit if your D250 has an 8 foot long bed, and if you have the Regular Cab or Extended Cab. Should your truck meet the latter requirements then here's the correct fits:

The 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab long bed uses # TLC2220A for the front and # TLC3212A for the rear if it is without board or step underneath truck bed and with a factory installed hitch or TorkLift SuperHitch or without a hitch or # TLC2219 and # TLR3500 if it is without board or step underneath truck bed and with... view full answer...

I do have a solution for you; however, it will require some changes to the existing components on your truck.
The Curt Hitch Extension # C45048 that you referenced does look to be your best option for getting the extension you need to tow a trailer with your Chevy Silverado and Lance Camper. As you mentioned, this does require you to have a 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver on your truck. Also keep in mind that when used at its max 34 inch length it has a maximum trailer weight capacity of 4,500... view full answer...
