Features to know about
Stay Stable on the Long Haul: Frame-Mounted Security
A solid connection makes all the difference when you’re hauling a camper over long distances or rough backroads. These rear tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—so your camper stays secure and your truck handles just like it does unloaded. By distributing weight evenly and keeping the center of gravity low, they prevent sway and shifting, even in strong crosswinds or uneven terrain.
Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Tie-Downs
The TorkLift tie-downs bolt onto pre-existing holes in your frame for a clean, custom fit. That means little to no drilling and no need to cut or modify anything. The tight frame mount keeps everything tucked up high, so you don’t lose ground clearance and don’t have to worry about dragging hardware when driving off-road or over steep driveways.
Keep It Looking Clean: Removable Design
When you’re not hauling your camper, remove the arms from the brackets and you’ll hardly notice they’re there. The brackets sit nearly flush with the frame, staying out of sight beneath the truck. This design keeps your setup looking clean while always being ready for the next trip.
Built Tough: Black Powder-Coated Steel
Each tie-down is made from black powder-coated steel that resists corrosion and holds up to years of weather and road exposure. The strong construction stands up to vibration, flex, and heavy loads so you can trust it through every season of travel.
Dial In Your Fit: Adjustable Arm Length and Anchor Points
Getting a perfect connection between your truck and camper is easy with the adjustable arms. Each arm extends out from the body to clear fenders or sidewalls and includes two anchor holes so you can set the best angle for your turnbuckles. Once tightened properly, the system locks everything down from multiple directions for a secure hold that doesn’t budge on the road.

TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear are mounted to my Torklift 20K hitch, easy to mount, worked flawlessly to hold down our camper.
Only issue is the bolts that came with the 20K hitch for the tubes are to short for the tubes and hitch you must use the extra bolts (2" grade 8) that come with the hitch. 177160

I've had these tie downs for a year now and they are still great. I'm using them on a custom installation so while I can't speak about fitment for your camper or truck; they still look great. They've been in mud and salt and still look great when hosed off. Torklift obviously does great powder coating. Mine are on an earlier truck (1981 K3500 dually) and while I modified my frame and Torklifts hitch in the truck build, the tie downs themselves are unmodified and went on super easy. I don't remove the outer post when not using the camper as they're not in the way ( maybe on a single wheel truck they would be). And I haven't heard them rattling, but mine isn't a quiet a truck. Wish Torklift made a good front mount solution too. My belly bar isn't as elegant as Torklifts mounts. 430048

Mounted at the same time I installed TFL1002 Super Duty trailer hitch. Simple install and construction of tie downs are heavy duty. Much stronger than anything mounted to the rear bumper (happijack mounts).
Extensions slide right in and are secured with pin and clip. When removed they are barely noticeable looking at the truck from the side view. 461406

So far it's great!! It took me and my buddy about 90 minutes to take off the old hitch on my 2006 Chevy 3500 dually!!! We timed ourselves! It wasn't complicated. We used a floor jack to lift the new hitch into place. All bolt holes matched perfectly. You definitely should use two people to install this thing because if it gets away from you may need to replace some fingers. It's just a heavy piece of equipment. Installing it myself saved me about $600 over having someone else install!! 1334497

Upon opening the boxes I found that several pieces from the installation kit were missing, I called and an entire new installation kit was quickly shipped to me. Installation was easy and I have been very happy with the customer service. 1200115

I installed a Superhitch 20k on my truck and realized that my existing truck camper tiedowns would not work with the new hitch. Found a set on etrailer.com and placed the order. The new tiedowns arrived 2 days later and were installed with no problems at all and we are ready to head out on our first trip of this year. Thanks etrailer. 614717

Torklift was recommended by several dealers and services departments not to mention the reviews on the web. So we gave it a try being new to the RV scene. Instructions were great, called Torklift customer support twice and they were right on in their instructions. Was successful in installing myself, took a couple hours, next time, way sooner. Will recommend to friends and family. 214200

Although expensive, the quality can't be beaten. Installation is straight forward and simple. The only thing I will be doing on my own is adding an additional hole in each of the brackets that insert into the tube. This will allow me to recess the bracket all the way in and secure it. 652821

Hey John, thanks for reaching out!
For just the rear set of TorkLift tie-downs you need the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLR3503, which I see you recently purchased for your 2006 Dodge Ram.

There are 2 different options for your 1996 Ford F-350 8' Bed with running boards and they just depend on what kind of trailer hitch you have installed on your pickup.
The correct front mount tie-downs are in the part # TLF2000. If you have the Torklift SuperHitch part # TLF1000 installed then the correct rear tie-downs are in the part # TLR3503. For any other aftermarket hitch (or none at all) then the correct rear tie-downs are in the part # TLR3501. These are compatible with the dual... view full answer...

I recommend the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1102-30. To install a 2-1/2" class 5 hitch on your 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 you will have to utilize a new set of rear tie downs as well. The TorkLift hitch will allow you a bolt on installation with no drilling required.
The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLR3503 will bolt onto your new hitch since your TorkLift # TLD3109 will no longer fit your truck. view full answer...
Yes. The TorkLift SuperHitch is the only brand that accepts the custom fram mounted camper tie downs. I have a solution for you, but the TorkLift # TLD3109 are not compatible with with the SuperHitch # TLD1102 since the new SuperHitch's side plates are going to occupy the same spot where those old tie downs were previously installed. In order to add a set of front and rear frame mounted camper tie downs to your 2016 Ford F-250, I would need to know the bed size, running board/bed step option, and trailer hitch type.

If you have an aftermarket hitch not manufactured by Torklift that has a side plate that measures at least 4 x 4 inches, use part # TLR3500. If the truck has a Torklift SuperHitch, use # TLR3503.

I have a solution for you that will work great with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TLD1100 you referenced but we do not have any spacers.
