I have a 2020 Silverado 3500 I have a hydrastar HBA 16. Do I need a cam. I had 2014 Silverado 3500 it had a cam number 3 81–7073. Does the new truck need to cam thanks

You will want The HydraStar Control Adapter Module # HBA-CAM, to use your Hydrastar # HBA-16 unit with the factory integrated brake controller on your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500.
The factory brake controllers on 2007 and up GM trucks are not directly compatible with electric-over-hydraulic braking systems, and will require a separate adapter like the # HBA-CAM to work properly.
