Question:
Need help on determining weather or not I need to pull fuses. I have purchased from e trailer two complete base plate and tow bar with complete kits. One is for my Ford 150 and the other is 2013 Cadillac SRX . I see that you were able to answer a customer with a 2014 SRX regarding fuses. My manual make no mention of pulling fuses. My other car I had to pull the Ignition fuse. Is it possible that no fuses need pulled? I did check with my local dealer they had no clue. I also wont to say that I could not be happier with E trailer. Lory has been fantastic who takes care of me when I am ordering.

To flat tow a 2013 Cadillac SRX you will not have to pull any fuses. You will however need a tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables to go along with your tow bar and base plates. If you haven't ordered these already then I have the following recommendations for you:
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will allow you to use your Cadillac SRX's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.
Since your SRX has separate wiring this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights. A wiring converter # 118158 and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This system offers intense, emergency braking or steady, smooth braking in a single portable system. Easily switch between proportional or full braking from the cab of your motorhome using the remote. The included charge line kit will keep your SRX's battery charged while you tow.
Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables help prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

Owning a 2014 Cadillac SRX front wheel drive to tow and we wonder if it requires crossbar. Our fiesta had 2 quick connects that hooked directly to falcon tow bar. Looking at video for SRX 2014 shows the 2 connectors and then shows this big crossbar that hooks to towbar. Can you show parts that we need to install including the wiring kits and part to operate brake lights and turn signals to work properly
