Does Curt Trailer Hitch For 2022 Lexus RX 350 Require Cutting Rear Bumper

Question:

Do I have to cut the rear bumper for the hitch to fit? Looking at some pictures and it showed the prior Lexus model have to cut the bumper to fit. I am looking at the curt hitch. Thanks

You will need to trim a small section of the fascia underneath the bumper of your 2022 Lexus RX 350 in order to install the Curt hitch that fits, which is the following part number:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C73DR

That said, it is just a small 3" x 3" square that needs to be cut for the receiver to protrude under your Lexus, so it won't be noticeable.
