This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is ready for towing small trailers, carrying bike racks, or adding a cargo carrier. With a Class III rating and a 2" x 2" receiver opening, it handles up to 4,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 600 lbs tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, it supports 5,000 lbs GTW and the same 600 lbs TW. The sturdy square tube construction gives it reliable strength for everyday hauling or weekend trips.
The fully welded steel hitch is finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat to resist rust and wear. The combination of coatings keeps the hitch looking good and performing well through weather and road grime. It’s designed to last, whether you’re towing on rough roads or just keeping it mounted year-round.
This hitch mounts directly to the frame with a bolt-on design—no drilling or welding required. The precision, robotic welding ensures the holes line up exactly where they should, so it fits right the first time. It comes with a complete hardware kit and instructions for installation using standard tools. Once it’s in place, the concealed cross tube keeps the setup clean under the bumper.
The 2" receiver size fits most common towing and cargo accessories like ball mounts, hitch pins, bike racks, and carriers (sold separately). That flexibility makes it easy to switch between towing your small camper one weekend and carrying bikes or gear the next without extra adapters or complicated setups.

This is the second Curt Hitch for my second Lexus. I think it was an easier install than the last one (6 years ago), but still an effort for one old guy. Its really well made and REALLY HEAVY (how about a video on how to install it on your own?). No it didnt take 30 minutes, actually about 2 hours. It looks really good, hardly noticable without the ball and installed before the rain & cold came.
Item (trailer hitch) shipped immediately and was received within a couple of days. This order was my first with etrailer but will certainly order again when the needs arise.

I installed this hitch myself in less than 15 minutes ( taking pictures as well), no cutting of bamper lower portion required.

This is the real deal! The hitch fits perfectly on a 2018 RX 350, just like described. The receiver hangs about an eighth of an inch below the facia; no cutting and no adjustments. The hitch is super heavy duty and has a great gloss finish. Standing at the back of the RX, the only thing visible is the receiver; see attached pictures. Easy 15 minute job and need an assistant just to hold up one side, while starting a bolt.
Staff called timely to let me know 1of the items in my order is back ordered. Staff was very helpful. Installation of the curt trailer hitch and curt t connector wire system was easy as described in the directions. I did watch u-tube vedios which were helpful. Saved my self about 150$ dollars in labor cost and much more than that if done at Lexus.
This trailer hitch was a very easy install onto my 2016 Lexus RX 350. I didn't have anyone to help me hold it up and bolt it onto the car so my wife helped me get one side onto a scissors jack while I held the other side. I had her raise the jack just short of the jack touching the car and then it was easy for me to install the 6 bolts (3 onto each side). And did I forget to mention how beautiful the hitch looks on my Lexus? I also put on the Curt hitch cover which tops off the install perfectly.
This is a quality product and etrailer is wonderful with all of the communication I received before the sale and after the sale.
Ordered this trailer hitch for my moms new (to her) 2016 Lexus RX350 because it didn’t have one on it when she purchased it and I recently had part of my left leg amputated and we have a manual wheelchair lift to transport my wheelchair when she takes my to my doctor appointments and physical therapy. I installed it myself and it probably would have taken the pro install time for me to do it with just hand tools (no power or air) except I cross threaded one of the bolts which was my fault but it still only took me about 45 minutes to install it on my back in the driveway while it was dark. Their instructional video was very informative and made it simple to install instead of having to try to read instructions and guess. I’m very happy with the price and quality of the product and the communication and delivery time.
I can say that this has been the easiest purchase and installation I have ever done on any of my cars. The ordering process and updates on shipping have been exceptional. ETrailer has made putting a hitch on my car easier than if it came from the factory with it. From start to finish it was 15 min including tie wrapping the extra wiring for the lights.... granted the 2017 Lexus RX350 I purchased already came prepped for the hitch and Tow package from Factory. When I purchased the vehicle from our local Lexus dealer I requested the hitch package be installed and they quoted me over $750, the ETrailer pricing made it a no brainer and painless easy install.

Packaging needs improvement. Carton was torn and hitch was scratched basically on the only visible area of the receiver. It wasn't real bad, so I touched it up with some gloss black paint I had. Installation was very straight forward and simple. I'm a little picky and always looking to improve things, so it took longer than it should have. Only improvement would be that I would have liked a couple of longer bolts so that I could keep the original tow eye, even though it really isn't needed since you can use the receiver to hook on to if needed. A nice hitch, quick and easy to install and looks great! It should handle whatever towing or handle any attachments that I may get.
This hitch is super heavy-duty and came with a great factory finish. The video provided by etrailer was spot-on. The instructions were perfect for my install and the install was easy for a single person. I did have a slight issue getting all three screws into the passenger side frame, though with a little friendly persuasion from a pry bar I was able to expose enough of the third hole to get the screw started. Once all screws were in-place, I torqued to spec then installed the wiring harness. etrailer has really delivered a great quality product and has provided great instructions for completing the install. Anyone whom owns a ratchet and some sockets can complete this install easily. I'll definitely shop eTrailer for all of my future hitch and accessory needs.

Put the hitch immediately to use 3 days after install by driving to FL from NJ with a cargo carrier attached. No wind noise, no sways, hardly noticed it was there except when I backed up and saw it on my back-up camera. A year later, looks as new, use it often, works as expected and no issues.
Bought this hitch for our Lexus RX 350 to support a bike rack. Hitch arrived in 4 days of placing the order. It was packaged very well. The guality of the hitch is top quality. It was very easy to install. I'm 74 years old and it took me about 20 minutes. Remove the tie down bracket from the right side. Use the exiting holes that already have nuts welded to the frame. Three bolts (that are included) on each side torque them down, project finished

Great. Fits perfect. The Lexus RX 350 is not really an ideal tow vehicle. BUT the hitch is super easy to install and an awesome solution for a bike rack,

A year later still works great!
I purchased this Trailer Hitch Receiver a year ago and installed it on my Lexus RX 350. The bolt holes lined up perfectly, it was a one man job so I used some props to hold up one side while getting the first bolt in. Towing worked well and I'm pleased that the hitch itself doesn't stick out very far which would ruin the look of my ride.) The product works very well, I am satisfied and would recommend to others.

Perfect fit. Nice finish. Easy to install. I used a floor jack to hold it in place while I inserted the bolts. Took 30 minutes tops!
Great fit, excellent odering and prompt delivery.
EZ install, neede an extra set of hands to lift inot place to start bolts.
Wire harness plugged inas described and routed and ziptied for a tidy installation.

This is my 2nd trailer hitch receiver from this company for 2 separate vehicles and they both fit perfectly and very informative with their installation videos ,I would definitely recommend this company going forward!
Very good seller, competing the price of all other sellers and when I saw the reviews of all the buyers for this item I was trying to buy (Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" C13272) I was very scared to order it from any seller because all buyers almost reported that it arrived in a very bad shape not packed well and because it is heavy item got scratched and either they returned it or others have to repaint it, e-tailer packaging was un-beleavable extremely professional and protected my item as new till it arrived my hand from UPS truck man.
