Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, along the driver's-side frame rail.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

RX was pre-wired with the package no absolutely no issues at all.
Perfect fit into the vehicle's existing wiring harness. Has about 4' of cord so it will ensure you have plenty of wiring for wherever you want to route it under the car.
Fits perfectly ... installed in less than an hour with a second set of hands from my son. And the genesis that snapped right in to the prewired rx350 tow wiring package .... all at 1/3 of the price the Lexus dealer was going to charge !!
Easy to plug and play if you have the towing package on your car. Loved that it came with zip ties and a plug cover.
All I can say is, thanks etrailer for having the right product for the Job!! Product as advertised! Installation was a breeze taking only 45 minutes. I did the installation without raising the vehicle up off the ground. As a side note, the Lexus dealer wanted over $700 for doing the same job, no surprise there..

Great product, excellent support. Very easy install in 25 minutes. Install directions very good. Holes are slotted in hitch, would recommend starting all bolts leaving bolts loose, then center hitch by bumping with wooden block before tightening. Then torque to spec.
As easy as all the reviews said it would be. Took a little while to get new bolts started that replaced OE self-tapping bolts. But it all lined up and gave a professional finished look when completed. Now I'm ready to help my friend install the hitch on his wife's RX. Won't hesitate to recommend etrailer.com to all in the future.
Literally cannot get simpler to install than this. Luckily, my 2010 Lexus Rx450H was set up with the factory tow package (and luckily I kept the window sticker to verify that!), so once the trim panel below the bumper is removed, the electrical connection is on the driver's side frame rail, capped. Remove cap, plug in the wiring harness, zip tie to the cross bar of the hitch, you're done. Shipping was super fast--ordered on Wednesday 6-14-17, scheduled for arrival 6-19-17, arrived late morning 6-17-17. Thank you!
I'm using it to tow troop equipment and canoe trailers for my son's Boy Scout events.
Shipping was prompt and extremely well packaged. I received timely updates on the progress of my order (which was much appreciated as I needed this an upcoming trip). Both the recommended hitch and wiring harness were a perfect fit. The installation video and PDF were informative and accurate, making the installation stress free and within the estimated timeframe. One hint: if working alone, a floor jack to support the hitch works as well as another set of hands.

I selected this wiring harness for my Lexus RX350 and it works great and it was super simple to install. If you’re looking for an installation project you’re going to look somewhere else, this took about 2 minutes to install and one of those was getting the packaging off. This fit into the wiring of my Lexus with no alterations, just plugged it in and routed the wire to the hitch.

The connector fit perfectly. Took me a couple minutes to install and route the wire.
Fit was perfect. Installation was 6 bolts and no drilling just as advertised. All that is visible from the rear is the receiver tube.
Hitch and harness fit perfectly. Cutting diagram for underside shroud was very helpful as well. Recommend etrailer for custom hitches.
Quick delivery and quality product. The only problem I had was removing the Lexus wiring cap. A half hour of frustration. I know how the cap clip works, but it was not fun working in the cramped space - on my back on a creeper on the garage floor. 5 stars to etrailer, 3 start to Lexus.

Easy to install once you locate the plug on the undercarriage. The zip ties that are included are a bit too short for the job.

Worked fine. I made the mistake of assuming my 2020 RX350 has OEM "Trailer Package" and later discovered I needed an extra component that plugs in near right tail light to complete the circuit (in my case Teknosha 118255) which etrailer no longer stocks. However, etrailer offered to refund my purchase. I opted to keep the T-connector as I had already installed it and it works fine with the power module I bought from a different vendor (that included a T-connector). Overall, I am happy with this product. It does what it is supposed to do.
