Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, along the driver's-side frame rail.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Note1, there was a connector cover on the SUV side I had to remove first to connect this harness.
Note2 I also had to get a tow light module mounted in trunk for the 2015 Lexus rx350 fwd.
Fit was perfect. Installation was 6 bolts and no drilling just as advertised. All that is visible from the rear is the receiver tube.
Hitch and harness fit perfectly. Cutting diagram for underside shroud was very helpful as well. Recommend etrailer for custom hitches.

I selected this wiring harness for my Lexus RX350 and it works great and it was super simple to install. If you’re looking for an installation project you’re going to look somewhere else, this took about 2 minutes to install and one of those was getting the packaging off. This fit into the wiring of my Lexus with no alterations, just plugged it in and routed the wire to the hitch.

Shipping was prompt and extremely well packaged. I received timely updates on the progress of my order (which was much appreciated as I needed this an upcoming trip). Both the recommended hitch and wiring harness were a perfect fit. The installation video and PDF were informative and accurate, making the installation stress free and within the estimated timeframe. One hint: if working alone, a floor jack to support the hitch works as well as another set of hands.

Literally cannot get simpler to install than this. Luckily, my 2010 Lexus Rx450H was set up with the factory tow package (and luckily I kept the window sticker to verify that!), so once the trim panel below the bumper is removed, the electrical connection is on the driver's side frame rail, capped. Remove cap, plug in the wiring harness, zip tie to the cross bar of the hitch, you're done. Shipping was super fast--ordered on Wednesday 6-14-17, scheduled for arrival 6-19-17, arrived late morning 6-17-17. Thank you!
I'm using it to tow troop equipment and canoe trailers for my son's Boy Scout events.
Great product, excellent support. Very easy install in 25 minutes. Install directions very good. Holes are slotted in hitch, would recommend starting all bolts leaving bolts loose, then center hitch by bumping with wooden block before tightening. Then torque to spec.
As easy as all the reviews said it would be. Took a little while to get new bolts started that replaced OE self-tapping bolts. But it all lined up and gave a professional finished look when completed. Now I'm ready to help my friend install the hitch on his wife's RX. Won't hesitate to recommend etrailer.com to all in the future.
