This is going to replace a damaged fat tire rear wheel holder for your T2 Classic platform bike rack, whether that be for the 2" hitches or 1-1/4" hitches, or for the two bike add-on or the two-bike holder. Just like the original, this is designed to keep that fat rear tire in place as you're going down the road.It's going to include the strap here to make sure that that tire stays in place. And because this is a Thule product, you can trust it's going to work for your platform bike rack. You're not going to have to worry about any compatibility issues or anything like that.

The product itself works great. It is just like the one we had to replace. However, when I went to order the product I could only find a replacement fat tire rear wheel holder & strap. After making a phone call I was told the fat tire rear wheel holder & strap will fit any tire. It would have been helpful if I didn't have to make a phone call to find this out. It would have been nice if the description would have included this information

Appears very well made. There were no instructions, so it took me a little bit to figure out how to increase the length of the strap for bigger tires, but now things look like they'll work great.

Still seems to be holding out great: no signs of damage, still holds things tight, no excessiveunnecessary movement.
Replaced the old holder with no issues. Had to drill a new hole on the opposite side of the existing screw to fit the holder. Very easy to do. Only minor issue in use. The strap hangs below the bar making it difficult to get the tire under the strap. An improvement would be have an index position to hold the strap up when putting the bike on the rack.
This wheel holder was the update needed to my bike rack! Fat tire bike capable now!
Bought an extra strap thinking that the original would not be long enough. Did not need the extra strap. The original strap has two mounting positions for increased length. Wish the video had shown the two different mounting points.

I purchased these rear wheel holders to replace my worn original ones as pictured given that Thule does not sell any strap buckles.
After installing these newer versions, as you see, the original stop designed on my bicycle carrier was reversed and has the buckle for the strap to engage facing the rear of the vehicle rather than towards the person installing the bicycle on the rack. That is, the original wheel holders had the insert to stop the wheel holder from sliding off on the opposing side of these newer models.
Not a problem, a new hole was drilled on the opposite side and the rack is was good as new,
A little pricey for an old bicycle carrier but I plan to run this for a long time.

Since it’s labeled “fat tire” holder I thought it would be bigger than the one currently on my T2 classic. Turns out it’s exactly the same one so it worked out. Great product, easy install, identical to the Thule one. Mine didn’t have the e-trailer label as shown in the photo, if you care about that.

Really good no issues
Ordered the Thule T2 replacement Fat Tire rear wheel holder and Fat Tire front wheel tray(X2) for my Sport Works bike rack. (Thule bought them out a few years ago). The parts bolted right up and work great. Remember to move the rear wheel strap into the longer reach holder notch so it fits around 4-5 inch fatty wheels.
This rear wheel holder is a great replacement for the old rear wheel holder on my T2 Classic Platform Bike Rack. I have installed it, but haven't had the opportunity to put my bikes on the rack and haul them yet, but the clips and fastening mechanism looks much more substantial and works more smoothly than the original holders that failed.

It’s hard to find replacement parts for my rack, it’s so old. I’m happy to have found this, my only minor issue is the strap is almost too short. I really have to wrench on it. I don’t see a way to adjust it. But love this company and the service is great!

It’s working great. It’s better than the original. The latching mechanism is much better. I like the loop and how I can pull down on it to tighten it
