Question:

Looking for a trailer hitch for supporting a rack for two bikes. My vehicle: Lexus RX 350 year 2021 I see you list a Curt hitch part number C73DR for this This requires cutting a hole in bumper to install? Is there a curt part number for this?

When installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C73DR on your 2021 Lexus RX 350 while there is no drilling required for installation, underbody panel(s) and/or fascia must be temporarily loosened or removed. Trimming a portion of the lower fascia panel may be needed to reattach panel or fascia. This could be something like a 3" x 3" hole that can be cut with a cut off tool or by using a small hack saw.

I also recommend installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118255 before installing the receiver as it will be easier to get to the wiring connector that is behind the bumper cover before you install the receiver. This 4-way flat connector will allow you to operate the lights on most small trailers as well as use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with any hitch mounted accessory such as a bike rack that impairs the view of your tail lights. The Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58001 will secure the 4-way to the end of the receiver where it is easily accessible.

For a bike rack I recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # NV22G. The built in bike repair stand and locking system make it a very versatile and clean rack that serves more than one function. You can also add an Extender # NA22G to be able to carry an additional 2 bikes.
