This is my second Curt hitch receiver I buy from etrailer. The first one was for my older 08 RX350, this one was for my 21 RX350. The price was very good, the shipment was prompt, and the packaging was solid. The installation instructions provided on the PDF and the videos make the installation process very straightforward.
The only issue I had was with one of the "ears" of the receiver (right ear if looking at it from the front) which was bent inward about 1.4 inch or so. I didn't realize this was the case until I had to screw in the bolts on that side of the receiver and realized they were not lining up. I took the receiver off (hadn't torqued the bolts yet, so it wasn't a big deal) and used my rubber mallet to straighten it. After that, it was a smooth installation.
My receiver definitely pushes against the bottom plastic of the bumper, but it didn't crack it and it is not that noticeable. I really don't have a problem with it. I saved myself hundreds by going this route and not go to Lexus to get the OEM part and I would do it again. It is worth noting my RX doesn't have the kick sensor.

Fit was great and quality is outstanding
Very rugged hitch. The installation folks said that it fit perfectly as they sometimes have difficult installations with hybrid vehicles. No issues at all with this one. Etrailer has been great and we will be purchasing a hitch bike rack from them!

Installed on a 2022 Lexus RX450h. A lot more installation work than previous installs I've done, but it's a Lexus issue, not etrailer's.The biggest part of the process is step 1: Removal of the Underbody Panel, and later cutting it to fit. The rear muffler hanger also needs to be removed to slip the receiver bracket in. I did the job in about 2 hours with the learning curve. Parts fit was good and all necessary hardware was included to mount the receiver bracketry. Careful not to damage any of the Underbody Panel push pins when removing them. No cutting of external painted bumper panels is necessary. End result is that it looks great!

Bolted up with no problems, if no helper is present I used a pair of floor jacks to hold up the hitch while I started the bolts.
The shipping was quick and clear.
I was able to see the shipping every step of the way including a map view of where it was located.
Communication with etrailer.com was great.
I almost purchased my hitch from another popular company used by everyone but the reviews were showing that they only wrapped the hitch in plastic wrap which caused the hitch coating to be scratched.
My hitch arrived perfectly in a box with protection inside as though it was freshly powder coated.
The install on a 2020 Lexus RX350 was so easy.
Probably under 20 minutes altogether.

The hitch is good quality and easy to install if you have a helper or a couple of jacks to support it. If you are trying to install it without a lift or a helper or jacks I hope you have been doing a lot of weight lifting to prepare. The instructions indicated that you should trim the bumper of the car. I found that completely unnecessary with my 2020 Lexus RX 350.
I was hesitant to order this receiver due to conflicting reviews regarding it's compatibility with my 2018 RX 350 f sport.
I am sure glad I took the chance! The install was flawless. From unboxing to tightening the last bolt my install time was less than 30 minutes.
The receiver does not rub at all. No trimming was required. If you are on the fence like I was, just go ahead and make the purchase.
Straightforward installation on 2022 Lexus RX 450h. I’m an average-sized guy, able to do this safely without having to raise the vehicle.
I needed to use an extension (~30” pipe) to exert the 79 lb-ft of torque called for. Maybe my new torque wrench is miscalibrated or maybe I’m just a lot weaker than I thought.
The most helpful video instructions for my 2022 Lexus RX450h were from U-Haul.
Shipping was fast and flawless from E-Trailer.

The receiver is inconspicuous but very professional appearing. No problems whatsoever after a year.
Installed on a 2021 RX450h with F Sport package. Works great. Just have to remove the dampener/toe hook from the f sport setup and trim the plastic underbody cover. Super easy.
