Can Weight Distribution Hitch Be Used On 2021 Subaru Ascent

Dear eTrailer, I have a 2021 Subaru Ascent, and am getting a Forest River T21TBHW pop-up camper. My towing capacity is 5000 lbs and the weight of the camper is 2670 lbs., and I am looking for the best option for a load leveler and anti-sway configuration. Any info you have is appreciated.

I do have an option for you buy you cannot use any sort of weight distributing device on a 2021 Subaru Ascent due to the design of the vehicle. Therefore, the only option you have for weight distributing is suspension enhancements for which the only option currently is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1094R. These work well and are easy to install. Then for the sway control you can use the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control part # 335TSC-1000 if the trailer has electric brakes.
There are some pros and cons of a weight distributing system versus the above but as the former is not an option this will be your best course of action for increased stability and ride quality while towing.
