  • 45 Amp Converter with Charge Wizard Needed for RV and Lithium Batteries
Hey Patrick, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're needing the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA. If you're wanting just the converter part then the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR would be the best option as it comes with the pendant for it. It's worth noting this doesn't have the Charge Wizard feature so if you need the Charge Wizard you'll have to go with the whole kit...

  • What is Difference Between 45 amp and 60 amp Progressive Dynamics Converter Chargers
Hey Jeff, the difference is that the Progressive Dynamics Converter Charter part # PD79RR would charge your lithium batteries at 60 amps compared to 45 amps like the # PD69RR so would charge it quicker. So if the battery was totally dead it would take a little over two hours to charge the batter with the 45 amp charger and with the 60 amp it would take a little over 1.5 hours. 1.6 hours to be exact.

  • Replacement Converter for PD9245C that is Lithium Battery Compatible
Hey Jay, the correct replacement converter to replace what you have now that is compatible with LifePO4 batteries would be the part # PD69RR that you referenced. Progressive Dynamics likes to change their part numbers a lot and create revisions of their converters but our # PD69RR which is the same as the PD9345 is the current model that matches your amperage and battery type. Your vehicle alternator wouldn't be charging the house battery so you shouldn't need to change anything there.

  • Can Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger Be Mounted Vertically
Hey Rod! Yes, the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR can be mounted vertically. Horizontal mounting is preferred but it can be mounted in any position as long as it has proper ventilation and you aren't blocking the fan and vent holes. What rig are you adding the converter charger to?

  • Does a Power Converter Charger Recharge a Battery Bank
There are a variety of ways to charge your battery bank up, including the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR you were looking at. If you can give me some more details on the size of your battery bank (amp hours) as well as some information about your setup (like if you have solar panels, a power center, or just the bank) then I can make a more direct recommendation for you.

  • Is there a Replacement Lithium Compatible Converter for a CS2000XL?
Hey Paul, welcome back! There's no direct replacement for your Centurion CS2000XL 8a/20a converter. I have two options for a replacement that will work with a LiFePO4 battery. I have listed them below: The most comprehensive replacement option is going to be to remove your power center and install the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel item # PD4045KA. This will completely replace and upgrade your current power center. It has...

  • Replacement Distribution Panel and Converter for a PD 733Q08RMTZB
Hey Dave, thanks for the pictures. I recommend replacing your distribution panel and upgrading your converter charger all in one. You can use the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel item # PD4045KA. This is a 45 amp unit has space for up to 3 breakers rated for 120V at 30 amps. This lets you have up to 6 branch circuits when you use tandem breakers. The DC section has 12 branch fuse holders capable of using (2) 30 amp and (10)...

  • Is etrailer Part # PD69RR the Progressive Dynamics PD9345V Converter Charger?
Tony, that's a great question, and you're absolutely right to double-check before ordering. Yes, etrailer part # PD69RR is the Progressive Dynamics PD9345V converter charger. The PD69RR number is our internal etrailer part number, while PD9345V is the manufacturer's number, so you are looking at the correct 45 amp converter charger. One thing worth mentioning is that the "V" at the end of PD9345V is important. It indicates that this version is battery-selector compatible and can be configured...

  • Will Progressive Dynamics 9200 Converter Work with a Lithium Battery?
Hey Jimmy, thanks for reaching out! The Progressive Dynamics 9200 Inteli-Power Converter # PD9245C is only able to charge standard batteries, so if you have Lithium batteries, you're going to need the 9300 Series # PD69RR instead. Are you upgrading your batteries, or upgrading the converter?

  • Looking for the Compatible Replacement Converter Section for a Elixir ELX-45
Thanks for reaching out Stephen, Unfortunately, we don't carry a direct replacement converter section that drops into the Elixir ELX-45 power center. If you're looking for the simplest lithium compatible solution, I'd recommend replacing the entire power center with the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter with Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA. It's a 45-amp lithium compatible converter that supports lithium, flooded lead-acid, AGM and gel batteries. If...

  • Will Installation of Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series Converter Charger Require Changing Wiring
Hey Scott! I can't say for sure since I don't know what you have on your 1984 Airstream. The Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series # PD79RR has a 60A output so you want 6 AWG copper wire running to your power center/distribution panel. For the battery cable, you need to follow the chart below which is based on distance. Compare this to what you have now to see if new wire will be required. I also attached the complete instructions further down on this page for your reference. What trips are...

  • Possible Converter Damage After Supplying 240 Volts to a 30 Amp RV Trailer
Hi Ken, I'm sorry to say, if 240 volts was accidentally supplied to a 30 amp RV that is designed for 120 volt service, it is possible that the converter was damaged. In some cases, fuses or circuit breakers will protect certain components, but an overvoltage event like that can still damage the converter along with other electronics such as the microwave, air conditioner control board, refrigerator control board, TV, or battery charger circuitry. Before replacing anything, I would recommend...

You can replace your entire power center using the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel item # PD4060K you were looking at. • Converter for Lithium House Batteries And Lead Acid Chassis Battery on 2019 Winnebago 33C
Hey Daryl! The Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR will work with the lithium house batteries. However, we don't have a way to allow it to charge the lead acid chassis and lithium house batteries at the same time. There may be some other products out there that would allow for this but it isn't something we carry. Is there a reason you need it to charge both? Realistically your alternator should be handling the charging of the chassis batteries so you could...

  • Replacement Converter for Progressive Dynamics 4140A That Is Lithium Compatible

  • Replacement Converter Panel for 1985 Fleetwood Avion 34W
Hey Jake, the lower converter PD4645V that you referenced is not compatible with what you have now as it's much older. Only solution we have would be an all new distribution panel like the PowerMax # PM47VR. This is a 45 amp distribution panel. Or you could unplug the current converter and just use the part # PD69RR. I wish there was a way to keep using the glass fuse setup you have but at this time there isn't a way to do that.

  • The PD 45amp Converter is a Little Too Tall for the Space I Want to Put it
Hey, Dave. I’m sorry to hear it ended up being a bit too tall! Unfortunately, any kind of modification, even cosmetic, would void the manufacturer’s warranty. Because of that, I wouldn’t be able to recommend making changes to the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger, part # PD69RR. We do have the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger part # 34266168. It is shorter but I'm unsure if the other dimensions will work. They are 10-1/2" long x 7-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" tall.

Unfortunately we don't have something directly compatible with your system.
