Thank you. How would I know if it has a 12v circuit supplying power to the trailer? I didn’t see anything about adding a 12v circuit with install instructions.

The Curt harness you purchased (thanks by the way) part # C56413 is a fully functioning 7-way connector after you install it so it has a 12 volt circuit supplying power to your trailer's battery.
With that being said you won't be able to charge up your trailer battery if it dies from the truck because there just isn't enough amperage. It's meant to maintain the trailer's battery while traveling to keep the battery from dying.
To charge a trailer battery you need something like part # CTEK56353.
