This stop collar automatically aligns the hitch pin holes on a hitch-mounted accessory and your 2" hitch. It's perfect for bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts, tow bars, or any other 2" accessory and it can be split and placed on the shank to avoid any impediments. It installs quickly and, once installed, it doesn't need further adjustment. Installing your favorite accessory in a trailer hitch receiver has never been easier.
The collar automatically aligns the hitch pin holes on your favorite 2" accessory and a 2" trailer hitch receiver every time you install it. It prevents you from having to bend down or stick your finger into the hole to check for alignment. It also eases the burden of installing a heavy accessory, like a cargo carrier, that's hard to wiggle forward or back in small increments.
The stop collar easily installs on most 2" accessories and once installed, it doesn't have to be adjusted - set it and forget it. To install, just slide the collar onto the accessory's 2" shank, insert the shank into your hitch, align the pin holes, slide the collar up against your hitch, and tighten down both hand knobs. If there are any impediments simply unscrew the knobs, split the collar into 2 pieces, and put it back together past the point of impediment.

Not much to say. A simple device to aid quick placement. Better than tape or paint. Second purchase for second bikerack
I thought I was going to need this to tighten down the hitch to minimize rattling but this turned out not to be needed. The superior solution is to use an Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock Item # 63232. This piece still has some value as I use it to mark how far my cargo carrier hitch goes into the receiver, so I can easily line up the locking bolt with the receiver.
Surprisingly handy add-on
This was a lifesaver. We had to install our cargo carrier in the middle of the night after packing all our stuff in the middle of a storm while we were camping. Having this saved me a lot of time. I would recommend this to anyone who is not going to have a cargo carrier permanently installed.

Love this thing. Easy to use and absolutely helpful. For me it eliminated the struggle with getting down on my knees for "line of sight" to align the hitch and bike rack holes to slide in the locking pin. Ever heard of set it and forget it? Well, I set it down on a shelf in the garage and forgot about it for almost two years. Eventually I came across it and decided to set it up. Once I set this pin alignment bracket on the bike rack it was quick and easy to mount the rack and get going every time. There is the set it and forget it again. Wish I had set it up as soon as I got the bike rack. Better late than never.

Shipping was good, installation was harder than it should have been but I’ll take ownership for some of that not being at all familiar with bike racks. It’s easy on and off, bikes are secured safely. Good communication before shipping.

I received the item as promised. I was kept in the loop as to its status: order received, shipped and expected delivery date.
I had a pop-up camper for 7 years, and I think of all the time that was wasted trying to line up the holes for the pin. I wish I had known about this sooner. But at least with the 2 inch hitch & weight distribution bars, which are very heavy and the hitch itself has to weigh 70 lbs! at least. This is SO perfect, insert, one and done ! Perfect every time !! I'll be bragging about this all year !
This was very easy to install and will make installing my bike rack that much faster. Well worth the money.

This is a great “cheat” and time-saver to have this collar. Occasionally, it moves a bit, so I just need to be cognizant of retightening it as needed.
I thought this would be a helpful purchase but the way my hitch ended up and my receiver hitch I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. But the product works very well and if anybody needs it to quiet the hitch rattle this is a product that would work well
It is a simple thing. I probably don't need it as I am perfectly capable of lining up the pin hole on my hitch. Thing is, I don't want to. I have lined up pin holes probably a thousand times and it is annoying, sweaty, and if I make a bad decision finger pinching affair. So no, I don't need this, but I do love having it. I put my bike rack in the hitch, put in the pin and go ride. Just makes my day a wee bit more enjoyable.
It's impressive in mass and strength. They are easy to use and fit my needs perfectly!

Well built and a great idea. I purchased this for use with the Yakima Longarm Load Extender as it was a suggested additional purchase item before checkout. Unfortunately it does not fit between the etrailer hitch and the first weld of the Yakima product. I am sure this was AI doing the suggesting and not one of the experienced etrailer staff members. I will keep it and use it on another attachment as I thought it to be a clever item.
Really have only used it once , but it came up perfectly aligned. Have it on my Blue Ox tow bars that aren't light. Used to be a real hassle getting it lined up with the hitch pin hole. but now easy.

I have had the Blue Ox tow bars on for the entire time. I sometimes leave the jeep home and take the bike rack, but havent done that so far.

I love how easy this makes it for me to line up the receiver holes. I'm getting another one for my RV hitch.
Simple, effective design with perfect function. Slip the collar around your hitch bar before inserting your hitch into the receiver. Pin your hitch. Butt the collar against the receiver and tighten. Thereafter, hitch-pin hole alignment is always perfect. Excellent value.

After a year of use, the hitch pin alignment collar has proved its worth. Ive used my hitch often. Pin alignment is always a breeze with this collar. Its been steadfast.
Just like I ordered! Fit perfect. Great price and great customer service. I will be a returning customer.
Big help when installing rack. I think to be a 5star item, it would need a cam lock to tighten/loosen for quicker changes between vehicles
This is such a great way to set it and forget it, my bike rack is not the lightest of gadgets having this on makes it easy to re-install should I need to take off the back of the trailer bumper.
