Quickly and easily install a 7-way, RV-style trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into existing tow connector on your truck - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side rear bumper. After plugging in the connector, route the 7-way end of the harness along the inside of your bumper toward the center of your vehicle.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Finally got a chance to install your product in the truck. It was quick and easy. In my case, I had to add a small washer for the ground screw and I needed longer zip ties. Works great and looks good!

Looks well made but have NOT installed yet because I have no bracket to mount the 7-pin connector in to! I realize this situation may vary per application but the description page should mention the subject. I also have p/n C57202 but again, nothing for the plug to mount to. I had to place a separate order for p/n PK12711U.
Would have liked to have seen this be a combination 4 way and 7 way. Didn't realize it would totally replace my factory 4 way now I will have to use an adapter for different style trailers.

This harness fit, installed and worked perfectly. I had one point of confusion for my 2018 F150 where there is a very similar looking connector nearby that (fortunately) doesn't fit. The correct connector was hiding behind (above) one of the frame braces. Once I figured out my mistake, the install was very easy.
Worked great. Be sure you either buy a bracket to mount it or cut through the bumper in factory positions.
This thing has worked very well and have towed many trail. A must buy for a f150 only took about a 2 hrs to install.

Fairly easy to install, watch the videos for help. I installed mine in the bumper where the factory plug would have been. Looks clean and there is a bracket you can bolt to behind the plastic. Had to drop the spare so if you are also installing a hitch be sure to have it all ready so you do not have to drop it twice.
Nice Harness and simple to install
I installed the 7 pin trailer connector socket in the bumper where the factory socket goes. The wiring harness was quick to install and went together well. I used the included zip ties to secure the extra wiring up and it all looks great and works well.

This works perfect on a 2019 Ford F150… I was able to determine that the wiring harness on my truck would except this plug and still let me utilize the four way… Make sure to look at the harness at the rear of the vehicle before you order anything universal… This saved me a lot of time… The hardest part was installing the bracket for the seven way.

Everything is great! Used it quite a bit and have had zero problems!
Installation was super simple. It took all of 7 minutes start to finish. If I ever need to install one on another truck I know where I'll buy it from.

Easy to install with informative instructions in the packaging and reference videos online. I love the fact that I was able to tap into the factory wiring harness without the need to splice any wires.
The hitch fit perfectly. It was definitely worthwhile to watch the videos on the installation, as that was hugely helpful.
Really pleased with the quality and finish of the hitch, even though it tucks up perfectly and you cannot really see it.
The price was very reasonable and the hitch arrived in only a couple of days. I did choose to install the 7-way Trailer Connector into the bumper cover, as there is a hole behind the plastic already for the factory connection, as you can see in the pictures. A 2 inch hole saw made quick work of that part.
The T-Connector wiring harness was awesome. This was definitely plug in and ready to go just like the video.

Wow! This is a great product! Its plug and play with the right parts. I suggest calling and speaking to someone before ordering this harness because the bracket for the seven pin plug is not included and the one I ordered didn't have the hardware holes in the right place requiring me to spend considerable time reworking it to fit (customer was waiting in the lobby!). If the harness had come with the right bracket, it would have taken 15 minutes to install. Unless you have tiny arms, you must lower the spare and then drill one hole for a ground wire (screw included). Overall, I still rate it as a 5 star because it is a great part and Mariah A. did and EXCELLENT job of getting it to me on short notice. I suggest etrailer.com recommend the correct bracket that fits that plug on the page for this harness.

I recommend the Pollak Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware PK12711U when a mounting bracket is needed with a 7-Way connector because this mounting bracket has slotted holes for installation, allowing for more wiggle room with the size of the 7-way mounting holes.

Product is great. Video help is great too. Unfortunately my ground location was sketchy and that caused some issues. Customer support was on it and helped solve the problem.
Installed in the factory position. Works like expected.
My F150 did not come with the tow package. This was the perfect harness. I watched the video and followed the directions exactly. Worked perfect. Didn't need to lower the spare or put on jacks. Just hosed off underneath the day before so I had a semi clean area to work in.

Bracket screws are rusty. I’ll replace with stainless steel.

If it were me, I'd use # HM40975 in place of the 7-way included with the Curt # C56413.
