The only TorkLift trailer hitch that fits your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed is # TLC1204. This is the SuperHitch Original Class V hitch with dual 2 inch receivers. It is rated for 1,700 pounds tongue weight and 17,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 2,000/20,000 pounds.
