With the SuperHitch Magnum, you get a 2-1/2" receiver for heavy-duty towing and a 2" receiver for standard towing. Add on the TorkLift Everest weight distribution system (TLWD1000 - sold separately), which is designed exclusively for SuperHitch hitches, and you can max out the 30,000-lb weight capacity of the hitch.

With 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Receiver Adapter

The SuperHitch Magnum features a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver for heavy-duty towing. Directly beneath this receiver is a 2" x 2" opening that is designed to meet your standard towing needs. Want to tow a trailer and carry a bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time? Just slide the included adapter sleeve into the top tube to convert it to a 2" receiver. This way you can use your 2" hitch-mounted accessories and use the bottom 2" receiver to tow a trailer at the same time.

etrailer was great, good price, fast delivery, easy to follow instuctions! I am very happy with this product. I got so i can use with a bike rack on my Chevy Spark. I had to buy an adapter to go to 2 inch reciever. Bike is 2 inch, works well. It does wobble a bit, added some hitch locks and straps, that fix most of the wobbling.

The hardware bag in side the box was open and scattered all over the inside of the main packaging. I am missing 1 bolt 1/2-13x2” and 2-9/16 flat washers. There were no holes in the packaging which means they were never shipped with it. For the price everything should have came with it. I have tried to call the customer service but it says the office is closed during the hours it says it should be open.Other than it looks great will know more once I install it.

I like it other than the fact the safety chains cut outs are too small

  • Tork Lift Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2 Foot Bed
The only TorkLift trailer hitch that fits your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed is # TLC1204. This is the SuperHitch Original Class V hitch with dual 2 inch receivers. It is rated for 1,700 pounds tongue weight and 17,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 2,000/20,000 pounds. I have linked a video of this bad boy for you.

  • TorkLift SuperHitch and 42 Inch SuperTruss Extension for a 2003 Chevy Silverado 3500
For your 2003 Chevy Silverado 3500 there are 2 TorkLift Super hitches available and they only fit long bed versions of the truck. First is the SuperHitch Magnum # TLC1205-30. And second is the SuperHitch Original # TLC1205. The biggest difference between these 2 is capacity. The Magnum is rated for 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 2,500 pounds tongue weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 30,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 3,000 pounds tongue weight. Capacities...

  • TorkLift SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 6-1/2' Bed
The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLC1204 is currently the only receiver available from TorkLift for your 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 6-1/2' bed. I spoke with a rep at TorkLift and they explained that the Magnum receiver C1204-30 you are looking for was discontinued in 2016. The reason for this was the receiver is rated for more than your Truck can handle and everyone was getting the Receiver # TLC1204 as it was more price conscious. The TorkLift SuperHitch...

The TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch # TLC1205-30 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle so it would be a great choice as it has a ton of capacity like you said you needed. Maximum gross trailer weight: 20,000 lb Maximum GTW when used with weight distribution: 30,000 lbs Maximum tongue weight: 2,500 lbs Maximum TW when used with weight distribution: 3,000 lbs It has only been tested on trucks with the stock sized spare so it would be hard to say for...

  • Torklift Superhitch Original vs Magnum 30K for 2002 Chevy 3500 Dually Duramax
I would agree with your assessment that the Superhitch Magnum 30k part # TLC1205-30 is overkill from a weight capacity point of view and the Original part # TLC1205 is more closely rated to what your vehicle is equipped for. Beyond that the Magnum has ability to be used as a 2-1/2 inch and 2 inch hitch whereas the Original is only a 2 inch hitch. That might be the only other thing worth considering.

  • Solution for 40 Hitch Extension on 2007 GMC Sierra 3500 Classic Dually With Truck Bed Camper
For a 40" extension on your 2007 Sierra 3500 Dually you could use the Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45018. This hitch extender comes at the full 48" length and can be cut down to 41". At That length it would have a max gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 500 lbs. This fits a 2-1/2" receiver and reduces it down to 2". It is also possible to use weight distribution with this extension. Keep in mind, this may not work on some OEM Class V hitches with round edges. If you...

  • Front Hitch for 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 That Doesn't Require Trimming
Hi Mark; the receiver on the Curt # 31109 will hang down below your front bumper so you won't have to cut anything for installation. To answer your question about the double receivers on the back, you can use them both as long as you aren't exceeding the capacity of the hitch or truck. If you have an aftermarket hitch stacked under the factory then you will need to know the rating for each. If it is a Torklift like # TLC1205-30 it will have a single rating for the whole hitch.

  • Using an In-Bed Camper while Towing an Enclosed Trailer with a Chevy Silverado 3500
For your 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500, I highly recommend Torklift # TLC1205-30. The SuperHitch Magnum has more than enough weight capacity to tow your trailer with a hitch extension. For your hitch extension TorkLift # TLE1524 is the most solid option to carry your enclosed trailer. The SuperTruss needs to be used with # TLWD1000, which is a weight distribution system. To be able to achieve the max 30,000 lbs towing/3,000 lb tongue weight rating of the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLC1205-30 on your 2006 Chevy Silverado you actually need to use TorkLift SuperHitch Everest Weight Distribution (WD) System # TLWD1000. The Everest only comes with the WD head, arms, and clamps so you also need either the adjustable shank # TLM9010 (12-1/2" length) or # TLM9011 (17-1/2" length) as well as the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40085.
