This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you a solid foundation for towing and carrying gear. With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 350-lb tongue weight (4,000 lbs GTW and 400 lbs TW when used with weight distribution), it’s perfect for light campers, small trailers, bike racks, or cargo carriers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening fits most common accessories like ball mounts or racks, so you can set it up for whatever you’re hauling.
This hitch is built for easy installation. It bolts directly to the vehicle’s frame using a complete hardware kit—no welding required. Precision, robotic welding ensures all the mounting holes line up right where they should, so everything fits without modification. The bolt-on setup makes it doable in a driveway with standard hand tools and a little patience.
Made from strong, fully welded steel, this hitch is built to take on regular use without flexing or rusting out. The gloss black powder coat finish is applied over a protective base coat for superior corrosion resistance, keeping the metal protected from weather and road grime. The round-tube design gives it a clean look under the bumper while staying tough enough for years of towing and gear hauling.

Great customer service. The package arrived quick even with a slight holiday delay , etrailer kept in communication to let me know exactly when my package would arrive. The packaging was durable and arrived complete and without harm.
Product was delivered on time as promised. The hitch was very easy to install with 3 people and ramps. All holes lined up accurately. Installation took less than a half hour. Used several times, with no problems.

Product fits exactly as stated and I was able to install it alone in about 30 minutes. I did pull my trailer around for about 10 miles and then torqued the bolts again because of the shape of the mounting holes on the hitch. Great design and great quality of the product so far. No rattling or shifting sounds while pulling the trailer which is a 6' X 12' wood bed utility. My 2013 Transit Connect is my work vehicle for heating and air and now I won't have to use my personal truck to haul equipment and then come back and my van to do the job.
The only concern, did not come with the screws.
This is my 6th Curt trailer hitch I have installed on my vehicles over the years. As usual, it fit perfectly, did not interfere with any other parts and looks great after installation. I primarily use my hitches for bike transport but also tow a light aluminum utility trailer from time to time. Good product, fast shipping, excellent installation instructions.
The hitch installed easily, all holes were in exactly the right place. There is plenty of clearance around the exhaust. No rattles or vibrations from the installation. The hitch is capable of much more than the van is. I use it to pull a small sailboat.

i had to grind a little of my bumper in order to get it in place on my 2010. wasn't much but such is life...now i can more easily transport my ebike.
Product is as described and figment is perfect and fast shipping as well. Installation was easy.

Was right part right fit easy to install except where just needed a second hand to hold one side just cause on back in driveway but really happy now. If can turn a wrench you can install one 2912 transit connect

That would be a concern of mine too! Definitely should have hardware. If you haven't already checked the receiver tube, lot of the time it's shipped in there to keep it from getting lost. Let me know! :)
