Super easy install once you got it up above the exhaust. Was able to install it solo but definitely easier with another set of hands. Directions and suggestions were all very helpful.
What a great product. Easy installation, watch a few vids on how to do it. Took me 1 hour to do it by myself with help of some Jack stands and Jack.
Really well made hitch. I did have to pry open the space between the back of the bumper beam and bumper cover a little to get the part that goes over the exhaust to slide in (just a hair too wide there) - but otherwise installation was a breeze. could do alone but one other person was helpful to hold one end of the hitch just until i got a bolt in.

Great hitch for my 2011 Ford Transit Connect! The biggest trailer I pull is 6x10 and I try not to load it down due to lack of proper engine power and the fact it’d likely fry the transmission. You could pull a pop up camper or tiny teardrop style but probably wouldn’t want to load it any heavier. The weight class III is good for 6000lbs and the Transit Connect is only reliable for 2000lbs at the absolute most. This thing is HEAVY DUTY for the vans size! I used a curt ball mount with a 4” rise (part #: C45070) which sits my trailers a bit higher than I had intended but they still pull fine with no sway.

The trailer hitch was extremely hard to install and did not fully line up with the bolt holes. I spent three hours trying to finagle the bolts in just for them still not to be able to screw in all the way. trailer hitch quality was great. I just wish that it would line up with the bolts holes.
With a little time and patience I've always been able to install trailer hitch receivers from etrailer on cars/trucks, but despite trying tips and tricks from other reviews I wasn't able to get this one installed on my 2013 Ford Transit Connect by myself, there were just too many twists, turns and angles to get things lined up correctly. I ended up having a local shop install it and they said the side rails were not completely square which was part of the reason I had trouble, but they were able to square it up and get it installed successfully. It tucks up nicely on the van, very happy with this product!

Special thanks to John G for upgrading my standard 5-7 day shiipping to express 3-5 days; I actually got it in 2 days and the tracking was accurate, via UPS, and detailed (USPS take notice)! The instructions were easy to follow which made the hitch installation go very smoothly. Overall it took me maybe 45 minutes but i took my time.
