Great news! While I wasn't able to find which hitch you purchased for your 2012, I was able to confirm all the hitches we have listed that fit the 2012 Honda CR-V will also fit the 2015 Honda CR-V.

Here is a list of part numbers that fit both the 2012 and 2015 CR-V's:
Draw-Tite 2 inch # 75742

Great! You are correct, when using the same hitch on a new vehicle you will want to use new installation hardware to secure the hitch. To get new hardware for the Curt hitch # C13119, you'll want to go to the # RHK page, I've linked to this page for you, and type in C13119 into the hitch number field and select Curt from the manufacture drop down and we will take it from there! The only other thing you may need is the stabilization strap # 18050, that Curt now requires for their hitch warranty on any non-trailer load, like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
