I have a 1994 Chevy Silverado 1500 Ext. Cab. will the Curt 31042 fit my truck??

The Silverado designation describes a trim class on the C/K series Chevy pickups in the 1994 model year. Front hitch # 31042 is a fit for all C/K models in this year as long as they have four wheel drive and do not have a 34 inch wide frame.

If your vehicle is a 2 wheel drive model, or your outside frame width is at 34 inches, you would instead use Draw-Tite front hitch # 65005, which fits all the 1500 models.
